Ashantiking: Nigeria is a failed state, it is the worst country in west Africa. Ghana following Nigeria since 1800. How can a poor country like ghana be compared to Nigeria, Lagos state is richer than ghana. Tinubu can buy ghana and use it as farmland and Dangote buy all ghanians home and abroad and use you as slave to work in our cement factory. President is John Dramani Mahama. Parliament has 230 members GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is 14 billion USD (2008 estimate) Agriculture employs 60 % of workforce and accounts for 37 % of GDP. Export products are gold, cocoa, timber, bauxite manganese and electricity. Oil was found in 2007. ( I think it's groundnut oil ) Economy relies heavily on foreign assistance and remittances from Ghanaians abroad. Currency is Ghana Cedi (GH¢) Popular tourist destination http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/country_information/Remove foreign aid and ibo traders in ghana, and watch the Economy fall down like mh17 malaysia jet. The useless toy is not even in your useless ghanaweb, the forum with less than 50 active members, even travel section on nairaland is more active and with members than your country forum. Ghana learn to show respect, even South africa and other countries that ought to measure up with Nigeria is not doing it, yet the poor not yet independent country want to jump without crawling. |

Let me tell you something...No amount of insults, abuse, and accusations will ever make me stop my work...you can come here, post photos of sulptures, and other stuff like you have done in the past, it just won't stop me..I will keep posting photos from the frontlines, relaying requests for equipment upgrades, and when we eventually get Shekau, I will break my no corpses policy and get exclusive photos to put here..I'm not going to argue with you over what you call classified or otherwise, Only if soldiers at the frontlines tell me to stop, that I will, and so far, I have peeps who keep pleading with me to also put their own photos online too..So you see, shout and scream from now till next year, I will keep posting...you can't stop me..This thread is not for me, or you, or for Gen.Minimah...this thread is a piece of history that 30 years from now, will be vey valuable...Since our journalists prefer to chase celebrities than get behind the camera and visit Maiduguri, I will make this thread my work...Only my death can stop this work...Our troops's stories have to be told...NLders, if I eventually pay the ultimate price, I have given instructions to a close friend, to reveal my identity...till then, this is my war..quid, this is the last message I will ever send you. I am naturally a shy person but I love reading a lot cos of my background, dad being a principal and mum being a teacher. Is that enough reason to hate me? I have asked them if there's any other reason but that's all they are saying. She requested that I come home to their village this dec so that all will be discussed at the family meeting. I will kip u informed as my story unfolds What nonsense, all this because you want to hold on to a relationship, hey the is boy stup1d and you should move on, how sure are you the woman won't request your parents to come stay with her in village so she knows them as well. I understand what you going through, hey all I can tell you, here is what my dad said to my sist. when she had same experience. The boy was living outside the con3 and planned to come marry her, they have everything planned only for the guy to come and my sist. Dint know he's around let alone coming for introduction. She left the house for some weeks and refuse to pick her call, my dad was finally able to get in touch and ask her what her problem, she said a man broke her heart. My dad's response. "I'm seriously disappointed in you, a man broke your heart and you want to kill yourself, you beautiful and educated, if a man promise to marry you and later change his mind, why don't you be happy?" The guys father died few months later, and my sist. Saw on poster for the funeral, the guy had given birth oversea, long ago, but kept it from her. Long story short, she is happily married with three kids now. Politics › Re: Buhari To Jonathan: You Have Declared War On Nigeria As Never Before by brownlord: 8:02pm On Jul 21, 2014 |
Sealeddeal: Former Nigerian Head of State Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has accused President Goodluck Jonathan of deploying the institutions of the state to wage war against the country, especially the opposition. In a statement issued in Kaduna on Sunday, Gen. Buhari urged President Jonathan to pull the brakes on his Administration’s runaway train of impunity in the interest of Nigeria’s survival and the sustenance of the nation’s democracy. He said the developments in the polity have become an unwelcome distraction for the nation’s ongoing survival battle against the terror group Boko Haram, which has put Nigeria on the tenterhooks, with innocent citizens being daily mowed down at the times and places of the group’s chosen and over 200 school girls spending their fourth month in precarious captivity ”In my capacity as an elder statesman, rather than a politician, I have spoken to President Jonathan in private over these issues, but indications are that the strategy has not yielded positive fruits. I cannot, just because I am an opposition politician, fail to do what is expected of me as an elder statesman to help rescue our nation in times of great trouble and palpable uncertainty. ”History will not be kind to me if I sit back while things turn bad, just so that no one will accuse me of partisanship. Yes, I am a politician. Yes, I am in the opposition. Yes, there is the tendency for my statement to be misconstrued as that of a politician rather than a statesman. But I owe it as matter of duty and honour, and in the interest of our nation, to speak out on the dangerous trajectory that our nation is heading. ”I can say, in all sincerity, that I have seen it all, as an ordinary citizen, a military officer, a head of state, a man who has occupied many other sensitive posts and a politician. I have been a close participant and witness to Nigeria’s political history. ”Our country has gone through several rough patches, but never before have I seen a Nigerian President declare war on his own country as we are seeing now. Never before have I seen a Nigerian President deploy federal institutions in the service of partisanship as we are witnessing now. Never before have I seen a Nigerian President utilize the common wealth to subvert the system and punish the opposition, all in the name of politics. Our nation has suffered serious consequences in the past for egregious acts that are not even close to what we are seeing now. It is time to pull the brakes,” Gen. Buhari warned. Source: Vanguard. I don't understand the bold part of the gen. He dint tell us how Jonathan waging war the country. |

aresa: Nigerians were not oblivious about their past problems when they voted for Jonathan to make it better, but instead, he made it worse many times over.
Nigerians didn't vote for Jonathan to add more debt and borrow to finance even his own government and also to fight common rag tag terrorists
Nigerians didn't vote for Jonathan to pardon crooks, convicts and corrupt elements.
Nigerians didn't vote for Jonathan to surround himself with and hire corrupt crooks under EFCC investigations to top government positions.
Nigerians didn't vote for Jonathan to tell them that stealing is not corruption or that corrupt is just their perceptions..
Nigerians didn't vote for Jonathan to promote tribalism and religious intolerance with his foolish and irresponsible utterances..
Nigerians did't vote for Jonathan to leave them unprotected for terrorists to blow into pieces everyday without the so called commander in chief lifting a finger.
Nigerians didn't vote for Jonathan to take orders from a little girl from Pakistan before attending to the needs and safety of our missing school girls and the same school girls he recklessly and irresponsibly refused to rescue.
The man is just a very cruel, mean spirited and horrible human being.. Vote him out sir, we all need a change, but remember, both parties have same corrupt politicians, is GEJ the first to give presidential pardon, who are the crooks? APC members that decamped to PDP, are they crooks in APC? kwakwaso sponsored some group to pilgrims and do not same to Christians, what is that sir? How is he promoting tribalism and religious intolerance, becos he's a christian? do we complain when a muslim president goes sitting down in mosque? Only about 19 security men where killed November 1999, before the then president invaded Odi village with military men to bring down every moving living and non living thing, today, solder's are killed everyday and when the military record success some group called Norther Elders, ACF with support of Amnesty international will shout genocide. If there is a better way to handle the situation up north please suggest. |

kingingkinging: It pains me when we still believe we have a president or a commander in chief of the armed forces in Nigeria.
What we have now is a thief in office.
the last time we had a leader was under Yar' adua, when strategic actions were taking without be goaded from outside Nigeria.
Actions like:
1. Reversal of VAT from 10% to 5%;
2. Amnesty for Niger-Delta militants;
3. Railways road map;
4. revocation of the sold refineries;
and other Seven point agenda.
under Obasanjo,
1. terrorism was controlled people like Asari were behind the bar.
2. There was employment because graduates from universities with Second Class upper and lower were changing jobs especially banking jobs.
3. Manufacturers were making money due to good economic policies like banning some products we could produce locally;
4. Debts were partly cancelled and the balance was paid off.
5. Foreign Reserve was increasing.
etc.
Today, we can not sleep freely again.
1. Security - Zero;
2. Employment- zero ;
3. External debt- increasing;
4. foreign reserve - depleting;
5. Morale - down.
A failed leadership. If all this you said are true, foreign reserve increasing, jobs etc, i wonder why we are still where we are today, so for the past 38 years, GEJ is the reason you have external debt, zero employment etc, and boko haram started yesterday right? It depends on when you where born, i will take you serious. How old plz? |

Tofax: Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, NDPVF , Mujahid Asari Dokubo , Thursday morning declared that the Niger - Delta part of Nigeria can no longer sustain the north , which he called barren . A recent statistics circulating on the internet shows that a major part of the north has no contribution to the nation’ s federation account and Dokubo said he would mobilise to shut down Nigeria if the Niger - Delta region is not granted full control of its resources . In a statement signed by Comrade Rex Emojite Anighoro , for Dokubo and the group, the self - acclaimed freedom fighter called Nigeria “a luciferian contraption of convenience dubiously crafted to criminally sustain the parasitic and predatory expansionist and supremacist Gambari North . ” Declaring that it is no longer business as usual , he stressed : “ may it be known to all our representatives both at the National Conference and the National Assembly who continually compromise the interest of the Niger - Delta region that they would be declared persona non grata in the region and their sins visited on them in their own life time . They would be treated as enemies of the region as the profanity of Esau can no longer be tolerated . ” He said events of the past weeks at the National Conference , Abuja, Nigeria ’ s Federal Capital , seem to have given credence , beyond reasonable doubts , to his argument “ that this Lugardian edifice is indeed a mistake of 1914 that is beyond redemption and ought now to be deconstructed . “ Indeed, the lie of an illusional and nonexistent unity of Nigeria has been glued and nourished at the monumental expense of the South with specific mention of the Niger Delta . “ This is a hypocritical reality that must be dismantled , while we have continually shown an unneedful accommodation , bending our backs to a breaking point in the sustenance of a barren and impotent Gambari North , the putrifying odour of their arrogance in ignorance in their dementia - thought patterns as the owners of our God given commonwealth calls for the immediate revocation of the further show of our charity . “ While we have given a very difficult and unexpected support to the National Conference in the hope that it may help salvage and rework a defective foundation of a union consummated in an illicit wedlock , we have been vindicated that we are not rabble rousing incurable separatist and war mongers . “ Our call for a Sovereign National Conference to discuss our collective terms of our existence at the table of brotherhood has thoroughly enjoyed the contempt and abuse of a people irrevocably determined to suffocate and confiscate our commonwealth and non- extinguished sovereignty . “ Let us state very emphatically that irrespective of the final determination of the National Conference , our minimum expectation and demand as a people is and remains 100 percent control of our resources or nothing . “ Yes, the National Conference can go on and propose even one hundred states, agree to rehabilitate and develop areas ravaged by insurgency and internal conflicts , agree to develop solid minerals resources and whatever , but let it be known that not a dime of the resources of the people of the Niger Delta should be factored into this oddious compromise . ” Dokubo said the current situation in the country now calls for a definitive moment to demand the abolition of “ the sustenance of the barren states of Nigeria with the resources of the Niger - Delta in the name of monthly allocations amongst others . “ We hereby equivocate that going back to the creeks may be inevitably preferable rather than allow for the wealth of our people be used to develop or rehabilitate a parasitic , barren yet ignorantly arrogant Gambari North . “ We are fully ready to mobilise our people from across the Niger Delta and even in diaspora to stand up for definite showdowns and direct actions . “ The Gambari North must no longer be sustained at our expense , our God given resources belong to us and not Nigeria . The end of Lugard’ s Nigeria is Now !” http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2014/07/17/resource-control-asari-dokubo-threatens-northerners/ Nothing to comment |
