Probz: I’m an Igbo man. I just don’t like people opening their mouths to say rubbish about things they have absolutely no understanding of.
The Yoruba enclave isn’t confined to southwestern Nigeria. That’s a fact whether you’re aware of it or not. Lol Who care where you are from? You're sobbing means nothing. Yoloba is the root of China, America and England. Meanwhile you sounds more like a confused 1doit above not Igbo man. |

We are talking officially gazetted names you are talking about your personal encounter Actually, you are the one this is crying without just cause. Are you from Ogidi? I am, people call me Onitsha man in some places and I answer. Ogidi is regarded as Onitsha Metropolis and we do not object that, I really don't know why you have been crying about signposts here. Where are you from by the way? |

pazienza: Believe me, I understand you. You are are the one that has refused to understand me.
I am very much aware that Greater Onitsha exists in Anambra city development and planning commission books. I'm aware it exists in people, especially "ndi mbia mbia" subconsciousness, but it doesn't exist in the reality for Idemili people. For example, if you ask many non Indigenes resident in Nkpor or Obosi where they reside, they will first of all tell you Onitsha, then when you ask them the part of Onitsha, they will say Obosi or Nkpor, as the case maybe. But an Obosi or Nkpor person will never give you such reply. To him, it's Nkpor in Idemili North LGA, and not Nkpor in Onitsha. The idea of Nkpor in Onitsha, is one non Idemili people living in Nkpor, Umuoji , Oba, Obosi or Ogidi propagate. The indigenes will not tolerate such idea. Obosi or Ogidi natives in Lagos, Kano or Abuja will tell you they are from Onitsha. I do so myself and there's no sense of inferiority with that. Once you are close home the narrative certainly changes. You should also understand that Onitsha is just a native community that developed and became popular while there likes of Enugu, Port Harcourt etc are not. They are metropolitan City developed as such from day zero. Enugu is not a native community neither is Port Harcourt. Even at that, natives of Obio/Akpor don't see their towns as Towns as PH. They either say Obio Akpor or their various towns like Rumuokoro, Rumuodumaya, Rukpokwu etc. Natives of these places don't bear PH in their signposts but they don't object like Ogidi, Nkpor etc if tenants add PH in their signposts. The above is simply a because Port Harcourt is nobody's community. Most important reason you see a rapid reactions from natives of Obosi, Ọgidi and Nkpor is because of the notorious trait of dragging their neighboring communal land and by Onitsha people. Such signpost will certainly be an invitation to Onitsha people to fight for our ancestral land. Furthermore, we must uphold or community names, city or not. The last time I was in Ihiala they were calling me Onitsha man and I did not object. I AM FROM OGIDI BUT I DON'T HAVE PROBLEM WITH PEOPLE REFERRING OGIDI AS ONITSHA, especially non-Anambra indigenes. This above is the fact I made clear to the drunkard above but he seems to be close to a senseless dude. |

MxreR: It has been accepted by all those areas, even someone from Ogidi here online has confirmed it. Stop breaking your head and learn to live with the reality. No one will be in Nkwelle or Ogidi or Nkpor without telling you that he is in Onitsha. Do you know that Awada lay-out is in Idemili, but someone in Awada already knows that he is in Onitsha.

MXrep: And I am telling you that ogidi is not part of onitsha officially. Google is your friend Are you drunk? What do you mean by officially? Cities swallow the neighboring towns and there is nothing one can do about it. Onitsha is a town for itself and so is Ogidi, Ogidi is much older than Onitsha but the fact is that as city develops it swallows the neighboring towns. This has been explained to you here, severally but it seems you are adamant of your skewed reasoning. As a town, Onitsha is a town for itself, as so is Obosi, Nkpor, Ogidi, Nkwlle, Ogbunike etc but as a city, Obosi, Nkpor, Ogidi are part of bigger Onitsha metropolis. This is also applicable to Awka and Nnewi. Please say no more, you are getting annoying. |

Yoruba is a race, not just a tribe. Let that sink in It is now 'has their root' There's no such thing like Yoloba head slammers in Ghana or Togo. Yoruba isn't just a tribe but a race. Let that sink into your skull. Adebayor is a Yoruba man from Togo. Kapish? Adebayor's parents are Nigerians but he was born in Lome. You lots are so ignorant. There is nothing like Yoruba tribe in Ghana, no indigenous Yoruba in Ghana. |

SuperIgbo1: My girl friend is from Hiati though, was born in Turks and Caicos islands.
She moved to Texas as a kid. She acknowledges that the Hiatian creole is mixed with some Igbo lexicons. Just like Jamaica also, where the language is fused with Igbo. During the civil war Haitian president was virtually sleeping in Igboland and were offering as much helps as they can afford, Haitians see it that their ancestral land was under attack and their people killed. |

SuperIgbo1: Don't start. Igbo language is formally recognized in Equatorial Guinea. There's a large Igbo community in Ivory coast and Gabon. Haiti is mostly Igbo too. There are far more Igbos in the Jamaica he mentioned. Igbo landing is a legendary place in US as a result of Igbo slaves revolution. Seriously, Yoloba people need as much help as they can get. Nearly 2.1 million collected PVCs in Anambra. Less than 550,000 people voted in total.
About 26% voter turnout.
