BetProfessor:
Good morning, well-meaning Nigerians,

My name is Olaoluwa. I am 32 and an O-Level holder. I had a car accident last year, lost my job, and became jobless for months.

Please help me; I am seriously hungry. The last time I ate was Sunday evening, and it was my remaining garri that I drank. I have not eaten any other food since Sunday evening other than the water that I have been drinking to gain some strength. I can no longer endure the hunger; my body is starting to shake. Please, my people, I am really sorry for begging, but it is just that I am starving to death. Please, someone should help me with something to eat, no matter the amount. I don't mind. I will always appreciate you. I am starving. I know things are very hard these days. Anything you have to spare, I would really appreciate.

I live at No. 31, Osuolale Street, Alubarika Town, Bode Olude, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

If you live near me, please invite me for lunch; I am dying of hunger. May you never lack the good things in life. Please have mercy on me and help me.

My phone number is 0 9 0 6 6 0 4 0 6 5 2

Please help me with any amount; #600 will do a lot for me at this time.

My bank details are:

Access Bank PLC

I want to sell my Vivo V3.

Price: 20k

cheesy cheesy..you are very funny, thesame Nigeria that experiences power outage a lot during raining season cos of excuse of wind storm falling electricity poles as we are made to believe here? Give credit to whom credit is due. Power supply was reasonable under Barth. I can recall having almost 24/7 power with few minutes interruption then.

If not that APC members love politics more than their lives, these are the kinds of technocrats that should be made the power minister.

Na for APC government lawyer be power and aviation ministers. Those people don't care about development; they are just after the next election!
This man remains the best minister of power we have had in this country. We had steady light in his days.

What is this one saying? As a business man, there is a difference between old and new stocks. Therein lies your answer.
You need serious lecture on basic business tips.

Retailers are the ones exploiting people. They keep making calls up and down to set a new rate for prices of old stocks. That wine must have been produced over a year ago, so hiking the price is senseless.
Did you think of how the seller will re-stock after selling at the old price? Where will he/she get the money to buy at the current price?

So many people are mentally unstable in this country, one would think that this is a case of wickedness but it is not, this is purely a mental case. This lawyer should be jailed in a psychiatric prison!!! Her face says it all that this woman is sick, her facial expression is a sign of no remorse.
You are very observant. That woman is not okay upstairs, this is the type that kills their husband at the slightest provocation or quarrel.

benuejosh:
The problem with the Zone C part of Benue State has always come from the neighbouring states of Ebonyi and Enugu which i think is always about land tussle.

The high level of insecurity from the South East can easily tell where the attacks gained entrance from. If the killers infiltrated the land to kill them it must be from the Eastern part of the Country.

Zone C part of Benue has suffered this for way too long now.

The governors of Benue, Ebonyi and Enugu must sit down to end this nonsense.
Tell us where the problem of zones A and B come from or is zone C more attacked than A and B?
Crime / Re: EFCC Arraigns Man Over $370,000 Fake Marriage Scam by BrutusOj(m): 12:43pm On Feb 15
Can somebody explain what a fake marriage is to me?

Does that mean the oyibo woman will return all the knacking she got from the guy? Or the sleepless night he had staying awake to please her on phone?

I think EFCC ought to stop attending to marriage scam or whatever they call it. Two adults agreed to go into a distant romantic relationship, one decided to send money to the other to meet up with his needs with the hope of being married or whatever, why go after the guy cos the relationship failed? The white mummies won't stop looking for cheap black men they lure with their dollars, why stress the guys after the eye sores of seeing a naked mama with wrinkles all over her body?

When will EFCC start going after Nigerian ladies who collect money from guys without ending up marrying the guys?

The Quranic instruction actually does not mention ‘alcohol’, rather it’s intoxicants it talks about. Actually alcohol and all drugs (codeine, coke etc) are all intoxicants
Thank you, I can see you read your Holy Book well and understand it. Kindly preach the message to other Muslim faithfuls, cos they see nothing wrong in consuming hard drugs but don't wast time in destroying alcohol up North (Hisbah).

Objectivist04:

You are not being sincere you know, the feeling you have when you see a coffin s it the same feeling you have when you see a table, chair, music instruments and wine ? Let's call a spade a spade Soludo is right on this law .
Left for me, each community should have a local coffin maker who will make a coffin once death occurs not this open displaying of coffins. The day l passed Regina celi road I had an eery feeling seeing a big plaza being used for coffin sales alone. Quite disgusting
You remind me of my childhood cheesy. There is a street in my home town where those guys who deals on casket do their work, each time I unknowingly enter the street, that night will be series of nightmares for me. I avoided that street until I saw death finish and became mature to see death as nothing serious even though one still shed tears when a loved one passes on. On a serious note, I agree with your suggestion above, coffins are not daily consumables, why make them in numbers and display like clothes everywhere? In big towns, they are not displayed like that sha. I haven't sighted coffins anywhere in Abuja before.

I support you but don't make this tribal, I hope. you could remember when Adenuga buried his mother many years ago, also just about last week we saw the burial of that twelve years old boy that died two years ago, after ingesting some substance from his cultists colleague in a Lagos private school.
The burial took place in Delta state and when I saw the flamboyancy, I shook my head.
So it is a southern thing while the Tivs of benue are worse overall.
I understand you, I mentioned east cos the post is about Anambra state and some folks are trying to condemn a law which they ought to embrace with joy. Almost every region is trying to abolish the culture/tradition of wasting money during burial now. Just recently, the traditional ruler of Idoma nation of Benue state, Och'idoma released new laws on burials and traditional wedding, all these are to reduce the rate at which people struggle so much just to meet up with unnecessary expenditure in the name of burial and wedding.

My religion Islam solved this problem thousands of years ago, but you call us fanatics and woke for not drinking alcohol.

Some friends avoid me saying I make outings boring, simply because I don’t drink alcohol.

Alcohol has ruined many homes, ruined many lives.
Now deal with the problem
Alcohol doesn't ruin anyone, it's excessive consumption of it that ruins.

Between alcohol and the drugs predominant among northern Muslims which is more dangerous? A bottle of codine has more effects in the body (intoxication and damage to the internal organs) than four bottles of beer or few shots of spirit.

Is it consumption of alcohol that Islam/Christianity forbids or substances that intoxicate? Why do you northern Muslims consume other stimulants with reckless abandon but see those who consume alcohol like sinners that should be stoned to death?

I know my correct Yoruba Muslim brothers don't deceive themselves, na we and them the run things for joint. cheesy

They probably got cocky cos their game play today is totally different from what they've been playing hitherto
They were annoying with those fouls, the last one that led to the third goal was silly. See the correct pass given to that small baby who was scared of scoring goal, just after the agbaya lost the possession, a counter attack was launched and it led to a goal.

That team is tactical and exposed.

More to it, they have a better fighting spirit.

It won’t be a walkover
Nothing exposed in them, Guinea played like amature today, those fouls committed that led to the last two goals were all avoidable. I didnt see any spectacular play by Congo, they just played a careless team.

Nonsense. Are they the ones paying the mortuary bills ?... If you haven't done burial before, you will think it's an easy stuff to xoy
What's difficult in burial? At the end of the day, won't you put the corpse down six foots below the ground? When someone dies, reach out to family members, friends and colleagues, the bereaved gather to discuss the date of the burial and the financial commitments involved. One month is enough to prepare for the burial except you are planning to turn the burial to a show as we watch in nollywood movies.
