ECOWAS is not a subset of the AU...its a parrallel structure. Also, CAF has nothing to do with either ECOWAS or the AU.

AU is the general body of all Africans state, while ECOWAS is strictly for West Africans states. If all things being equal, you can't be a member of AU if you are not a member of ECOWAS. All ECOWAS are AU members but not all AU members are ECOWAS members.

I can say Osihmen has the fighting spirit of naija ex big players but the rest are just mediocres hyped by our local sports analysts on papers. If we must play well, then we have to start looking into our local leagues to pick the boys who are hungry to play.
