Africa's Richest Man, Aliko Dangote Donates N150 Million To Fight Ebola In Nigeria

One of the richest men in the world and Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote has yesterday donated N150 Million to help in the fight of the spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria. The Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Foundation, Mrs Adhiambo Odaga announced this at a media briefing at the Ministry of Health, Abuja on Monday. She said the money will be available for the establishment of an Ebola emergency operation centre in Lagos.

Ebola Update: 4000 Bottles of 'Anointed Water'' Has Been Sent to Sierra Leone: T.B Joshua

Pastor T.B Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) has announced that the Sierra Leone government have been sent 4000 bottles of his ‘anointing water’ to spiritually fortify the country in their fight against the deadly disease. Prophet Joshua also announced that a private jet hired at $50,000 conveyed the spiritual items to the country yesterday. He also added that an extra $50,000 was given to victims of the disease as donated by the prophet and his ‘Emmanuel TV Partners’.

Sad!! Nigerian Doctor That Treated the Liberian, Sawyer is Down With Illness


This is sad tho! Again, Nigeria’s Health Minister, Onyebuchi Chukwu has disclosed that Lagos state has recorded its second case of Ebola on Monday as a doctor who treated the Liberian victim, Patrick Sawyer is said to be down with the virus. Sawyer died in Lagos last month after arriving in Lagos via a plane from Liberia. Ebola has killed 826 people in West Africa since the outbreak began in February, mostly in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. “As of today, one of the doctors that treated the late Mr Sawyer has tested positive to the Ebola virus,” Chukwu told a news conference.
He added that of the 70 people who were under surveillance, eight had been “quarantined at an isolation ward provided by the Lagos state government.”

Ebola is one of the world’s deadliest diseases, with a mortality rate of up to 90 percent of its cases.
