jayjay5oxide:

Do you want to take WAEC Examinations In Nigeria And Pass Successfully? Since WAEC certificate examination has become a criteria for gaining admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria, virtually all students desire to pass and succeed in their WAEC examinations.

People fail WAEC examinations for many reasons, however, as a serious student looking for the right ways to succeed in your WAEC examinations, you should employ the tips and steps which I have written in this article for you to pass your WAEC examinations.

You may be a brilliant , a hardworking and a resourceful student in school but you may miss some useful tips to pass your WAEC examinations if you ignore this article. I have highlighted on ten tips to succeed in your WAEC exams, all you need to do is to stay pinned to this post.

[Prepare For WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Use the WAEC syllabus

You should take your time to study the WAEC syllabus, note down the topics and start preparing extensively on the examination. As a student who is preparing for the WAEC examination, you can’t leave your list of topic under a subject and start reading the topic which the questions wouldn’t come out from. Get your WAEC syllabus and know the places to read on.

[Prepare For WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Make Use of The WAEC recommended textbooks

I have heard students say “I don’t like that New General Mathematics textbooks” or “That textbook is boring, I will get another one”. Textbooks recommended for WAEC preparations have been studied and endorsed by professors and educators as a tool which will help students to pass the WAEC examination. Do not abandon a textbook because you find it hard to get yourself acquainted and  assimilated to it.

[Prepare For WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Forget Runs and WAEC Cheats

It has been known that some website, blogs and forums have made publications, posts and adverts on runs, expo or cheats so that you should patronize them. Don’t fall for cheap scams. Your priority now should be on facing your exam squarely and succeed in the examinations. If you fail to prepare and you were caught with a mobile device or a foreign material and you had your paper seized, what would you do?.

WAEC Examinations In Nigeria And Pass Successfully
[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Have a Reading Timetable

As a student, you should schedule your time in reading for the subjects which you have chosen for your WAEC examinations. Don’t just start reading on any subject, give time and opportunity to read the subjects at your specified point in time.

[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Start Reading Before The Exam

Don’t wait for the sound of the gun or announcement for you to start reading and making preparations for the exam. Start preparing for it even before registering for the examinations. Remember that early preparations will give you more room and space to make research and ask questions about subjects and problems which you find difficult in your studies.

[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Get The WAEC Past Questions’

Getting the WAEC past questions gives you the understanding of how WAEC officials and educations set their examinations. At times, questions are being repeated and most times, questions repeated are tweaked and twisted so that it students will not pass cheaply. If you are able to study the examination questions without cramming it, you will be able to understand the setup and solution to the questions even if the questions are changed and twisted.

[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Identify your Weak Point

If your weak point is in Mathematics, tackle it before the examination approaches near. You may be a brilliant student or an average student, but it is possible that you may not have an excellent knowledge in all subjects. Identify those subjects which you are weak, give room and time to tackle them and solve them

[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Increase Your Reading and Learning Speed

If you are solving problem on Mathematics or if you are studying the past questions. Make sure that you time yourself and increase the speed at which you study the exam questions. If you will solve 9 mathematics questions in 90 minutes, see to it that you improve on the time and speed at which you solve them, if possible, you can solve it in an hour.

[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Eliminate All Forms of Fear

Fear is the cause of failure. Fear brings examination fever and it erases any form of conviction of you succeeding in the examination. The cause of fear is late preparation and a low self esteem and confidence in your ability. Erase fear and believe that you will excel in your WAEC examinations.

[WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Have your Exam Timetable

You don’t need to be told to get your examination timetable when it is out. The WAEC examination timetable tells you the period of the exam and its duration. Failure to get the timetable can spell doom for you as you may be absent at the very moment you have an examination.

[Prepare For WAEC Examinations In Nigeria]Other Tips You Should Know

You can form a study group for your WAEC examination but not when the examination is close. Forming a study group is not bad but it becomes bad when the examination is close and that brings in pressure and can cause distraction.

Pray to God and believe in him

Be at the exam center at least 30 or 1 hour before the exam commences.

Have your materials with you, don’t decide to borrow from anybody in the examination hall.

In conclusion,  for all those preparing for WAEC Examinations in Nigeria, I wish you success. Having read this article, I know that it will help you in making preparations for the examinations. If you have not written or taken a WAEC examination before, this article will help you in making plans and preparations as you make efforts to come out with flying colors in the examinations. And if you have written the exam before and you are having a resit of the examination, you will pass this successfully without any problems and glitches.

I wish you success in your educational pursuit and endeavors.

Business / Covid 19: How To Save More Money And Spend Less During Lockdown by Bscholarly: 8:44am On May 27, 2020
In times of economic downturn, unemployment and financial crisis like this, it is pertinent to know those simple tricks that can actually help you to save more and spend less. In Nigeria currently, everyone it trying to adapt to this new system of staying at home so as to stop the spread of this deadly virus called Covid 19. But the truth is that, Nigerians cannot continue this way for long without their essential needs.

That notwithstanding, i have been able to come up with 5 tentative tips that can enable you to spend less and save more money in this lockdown. Trust me; you will enjoy this one. This is actually to educate educate us all on how we can manage the little we during this lockdown. So, what are tips to save more money and spend less in this lockdown?

1. Kill the urge to splurge

If you really want to save more money in hard times like this, the first thing you have to do is to kill the urge to splurge in you. In other words, you must stop spending extravagantly.
A wise man once said that; to become rich, you don't only have to be concerned about how much you earn, but also how much spend. This is one of the most difficult things for some people but you really have to start doing if you want to save more money in this lockdown.
Conversely, in trying to spend less, i recommend you to always make a list of the things you will need everyday before starting your daily activities. Anything you did not budget for does not deserve to the spent on. I practice this a lot of time and it has been helpful to me. Trust me; it will work for you if you try.

2. Cansel all unnecessary payments

Another tip that will help you to save more money in this lockdown period is to cansel all your unnecessary payments. Decide your priorities and go for them. If you used to pay a food seller N500 just to send you food everyday, then you should consider cooking for yourself now. Trust me; this will be difficult but it help you to save a lot.

The truth is that, nobody knows when things are going to get normal again. Even if this whole lockdown stops, things might not be the way they used to be again. So, you must prepare for the worst. Save as much as you can this period.
If there is anything you don't really need, don't pay for it. Focus on those things that will really fetch you little money not those that will take money from you.

3. Swap to cheaper alternatives

If you have noticed, the price of everything in the country is gradually raising now. In fact, a Dollar is no longer N365 when converted to Naira because the country is apparently heading to recession. One of the tentative tips to save in times like this is to swap to cheaper alternatives. In other words, go for the things that are less expensive.

By doing this, you will save more than you can imagine. Take for instance, while the cost of Indomi noodles is now about ₦ 1,800 – ₦ 2,400 (per carton) depending on the size, you can decide to go for Tummy Tummy Instant Noodles that is far more cheaper.

Forget about whether you really like the noodles or not. As long as it will enable to save more money, especially now that you do not know when this whole pandemic will end, do it. It will help you a lot.

4. Consider starting an online business

For those that doesn't know anything about the internet or believe that it is possible to make make money working from home, this might sound absurd to you. But the truth is that; it is actually possible to make money working from your home. If you doubt me, then you should ask Oluwaseun Osewa.

There are many things that can fetch you money on the internet. For example, you can start a blog, affiliate marketing etc. These things may not be giving you up to 50k - 100k every month as a beginner, but the little you can get from it now can keep you while this pandemic last.
By starting an online business, i do not mean that you should join the GiftedWorld or pay 1k to get 10k gang. I am not also postulating that they are all fraudsters anyway.

5. Don't waste food

If you still consume food any how or throw away food in this lockdown, then you are wicked. The reason is because, many Nigerians are currently crying because of hunger. Frankly speaking, this is not the time to waste food. It is bad even in a normal situation because it is against good conscience.

The last time i personally allowed my food to get spoit in the lockdown, It was hell for me because I knew how much I would have saved if I had taken my time to preserve the food.
Believe it or not, this is one of the most tentative ways of saving money in this lockdown. If you learn how to manage your food, eat when you are supposed and give out when you are supposed, you will see that you even save more money than you ever thought.

Wrapping up:

Now that you know the 5 tentative tips to save money and spend less in this lockdown, I enjoin you to inculcate them into your daily activities from today. Make sure that, in everything that has to do with money during this time, you always consider the tips above. I mean, let them ring in your head at every moment. Trust me; if you follow this for
