I don't really understand your question. When I registered, I paid to the bank, did the necessary stuff online using a chartered accountant as ref. I then submitted the printout (which was signed by my ref) with the necessary documents (birth certificate, waec result, nysc certificate and B.Sc Certificate and bank teller). There's nothing to certify. Just submit your printout along with the necessary documents, or has ICAN changed the whole process?

You all are welcome to Osun. I just finished my service here. Truth is your camp being fun depends on your behaviour in camp. If you guys behave well, i.e no cult tendencies and good level of obedience to rules and regulations, you would enjoy your camp but if not they would cancel some of the fun activities like camp fire night and the soldiers could also get tough on you guys. My own camp was fun and the soldiers were generally cool with us. Mami market is there for you if you cannot cope with all of the camp food.

For those that would want to show off and spend so much on ladies, you can spend all the money you are bringing to camp but I beg you not to spend too much of your first allawee in camp or you would regret it when you get out of camp cos life outside camp is an entirely different one. Things are not cheap except you get posted to villages where you might not have access to amenities. The people are generally friendly but some might see you as a "big man" once they see you in your khaki. Some sellers (especially in the State capital) might even increase their prices once they know you are a corper, so you have to be wise.

Things that are cheap: Transport is generally cheap but fuel scarcity has caused a hike these days, some foods and fruits are cheap (like plantain, onions, moi-moi yam, orange etc) other things like provisions and foodstuff are not cheap o.

One thing you would enjoy Osun for is light. Electricity is stable to a large extent especially in places like Ede, Osogbo, Ode-omu. Light is quite bad in places like Ife, Gbongan, Boluwaduro, Atakunmosa, Ola-oluwa, Egbedore etc. If you are someone that loves your gadgets, pray you are posted to Ede or Osogbo. Joining a group like the band, participating well in sports like volleyball and football is quite a sure way to get you a good posting otherwise O.Y.O is your case.

As to accomodation, few PPAs mostly private institutions and LG secretariat give accomodation but only a few would be posted there. The thing is that if you are not into the medical or law line, errh I'm sorry you would most likely find yourself teaching in a school (there are no companies here) so prepare your mind. Also there is no state allawee. We are still praying for God to touch the governor's heart in that regard but Osun is quite a poor state.

I think that's enough for now. I wish you a fun-filled camping experience and a successful service year in the State of Osun.
