It's not news anymore that exiting government officials including retired civil servants are allowed to leave with their status vehicles provided they provide the appropriate monetisation.

The car park at his father's royal residence is all there to see at Rumuepirikon off Iwofe road, even with RSGV number.
Even during military era, most disengaged commissioners left with their official car.
Even some firms will allow even a sacked staff to buy back their official car.
