The EFCC should raid plenty tax auditors offices, and they should also watch state and federal tax officials, the level of venality from these department is insane. I once did a construction consultant project for a company I wont mention... Their taxes when calculated was almost 98 million to the state alone, and their tax auditor fixed the papers to help them make it look like its 18 million nairea. And eventually, they only paid half that amount to the useless government of Ogun State which instead of employing real graduates, uses drop out Mapoly touts |
I spoke this to an uncle who worked in the Special Fraud Unit, Can the OP text this number 08033188099 Just your ID name...and I'll forward your info to my uncle. They will pick this basterd up wherever he might be...and he will pay through his nose. And I am disappointed in the OP...you can make Cityhood suffer through following the law. Text my number...lets deal with this criminal. |
God bless you sir. Bless you a thousand folds. |
God, bless me with a G-Wagon for my 35th Birthday! But I dont want this one oh! I want the 2017 model oh! |
The Obama government poured about $23 trillion into a host of several programs to pull the US from the 2007/2008 Financial Melt-Down. Bank interest rate was reduced as low as 2%, Small Medium Scale Business was extremely empowered, even Donald Trump declared bankruptcy and was bailed out by the US government. The US Auto Industry, and other big and small businesses were given a financial life line by the US government...to keep them living, and get them to bounce back. Today, all these businesses have paid the US government back all they borrowed with interests. This is a country with Infrasctures we wont have in the next 100 years if we keep developing on daily basis, and with better financial systems and over $50 trillion solid foreign reserve... How much has the Buhari war on corruption generated so far? roughly 600 Billion Naira from GEJ and his Muskeeters? Less than $1.35 Billion USD. This same war against corruption killed our economy, the EFCC/DSS chased away every single real investor we have. I even heard, you either sell your properties in Abuja fast, before the EFCC/DSS starts asking question how you came about it and confiscate it? Imagine! Even Banks were battered, and assaulted by these clueless dolts, and once more, how much was recovered and how much did we lose in the battle against corruption? Isn't this a classic term of Phyrric Victory? A useless and meaningless and fake victory! And now, how much has the current Senate, and Northern Political Toads stolen from Buhari Government? Over a trillion in form padded budgets, and inflated contracts. I voted Buhari, but I see him asphyxiating this economy by the time he hands over due to his ancient, and medieval solutions. I was just reading about a Buhari aid who stashed over $1million in his house. LOl. I think its time to stop bothering about the Nigerian economy while this loser still leads the country and The best Business Advice I could offer anybody right now is to buy as much Bitcoin, Dollars, Euro, Pounds Sterlings, and hoard them somewhere extremely safe, maybe in a savings in London - I am doing a count down to the moment the Naira will REALLY REALLY fall like the useless mothfuvker Buhari has reduced it. The Nigerian Economy funeral is days away! I dont care anymore. It's time to profit from this useless government in the ways I know I can... |
Hate him or love him. He's better than the entire ministers under both GEJ and UMY... The guy is working...and just like he did in Lagos, by the entire he's spent 8 years, I see all the federal roads, power, and housing wearing a global and world class standard face. I am proud of you Gov Fash. |
NarnieSnyper:Must every issue be tribalized? Land grabbing is a menace, even in the North, and every other part of Nigeria. I have personally witnessed one in Isiopko, in Delta, and this was even one I read about recently in Anambra http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/08/land-grabbers-beat-prayer-warriors-coma-anambra/ Let's leave this petty trash out of Nairaland and discuss issues like sane folks. |
Highly effective...I've been following the news, and here is some news about arrested land grabbers. 1. Three suspected land grabbers, Igbokun Ogunkoya, 40, Ayoola Ahmed, 20 and Lateef Alase, 44 were arrested on Sunday August 14 http://tribuneonlineng.com/5-men-worked-land-grabbers-15-years-arrested-lagos/ 2. 5 men who worked as land grabbers for 15 years arrested in Lagos http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2016/08/photo-three-suspected-land-grabbers.html 3. Omonile land grabber arrested for murder in Ogun State http://pulse.ng/gist/omo-onile-land-grabbers-arrested-for-murder-in-ogun-id5445552.html The scourge is been fixed, and it will go a very long way in bringing untold development and sanity to the SW. Most Omo-oniles I know are now carefully searching for an alternative job to do, like making blocks, selling tanks of water, or supplier building materials. Who said baboon and monkey no fit work together? |
You have more than enough space. Do you have a building plan and survey? |
mrsfavour:No lifers debating the lives of successful politicians. So many jobless jobs here. |
1. land is also risky 2. land can also be sold to multiple owners 3. land requires employing a competent lawyer 4. land can later in the future be demolished or reclaimed...based on gov's policy 5. there's something called good and bad land...waterlogged, hard, table, slopy...etc 6. there's also state and federal acquisition while marketing, dont forget to warn people as well. Land is good...but it as risky as shares or stocks |
I dont think there is anything wrong if the MOD creates an Engineer Thread...where builders can post info of their profession, pictures of their projects, their professional qualification, etc. We are talking millions of nairas been handed to some annonymous guy behind a computer screen. There should be a verification process. |
I am a professional builder and constantly read comments on nairaland but I think I could add some thoughts here... Constructing a fence is no biggie...unless the land is swampy....and even at that stage, its something you can do for yourself Do a DIY, and I can guide you how to go about it...directly here. 1. For Dry Land I want to assume your land is 60x120 feet, and you only need 6x6 inches blocks for the construction. Here's the Qty of Materials you need... Convert 60 ft + 120 x 2 ft to Inches = 4320 Most Gates are 20 or 25 feet (convert this to inches), then minus = 3900 Inches I am talking in the engineering language...buttom line is you need 3060 pieces of 6" Blocks for fence a one plot land. My calculation also included broken pieces In Lay Man's Language, we will need" 1. 3060 pcs of 6x6 blocks = x 150 Naira = #459,000. 2. For a simple fence work, 100 blocks = 1 bag of cement x 3k plus, extra bags used for foundational work and concrete works that serves as reinforcement = 40 bags of cement (no idea of how much cement cost in your region) 3. For Iron rod I've always calculated quarter tonne of 12MM for fences. Calcultion is: one tonne = 180k, quarter is 45k (dont forget transportation fees, binding wire, rings, welders fees, budget 70k) 4. Hey, lets not forget the woods that would be used for the framework, we need that too. Meaning, for every single pillars in the wall, you need 4 pcs of 2x4, and 4 pcs of 1x12, my detailed estimation, puts woods within #25,000 5. Sand (4 trucks 10 tonnes each), granite (1 truck 20 tonnes). Prices varies, but one truck of granite is #100,000 firm down here, and 4 trucks of sand makes #60,000 making it a complete total of #160,000 6. Finally, the gate which varies a lot. We have plain sheets, which wont last more than 10 years if superbly coated. And checkered plates which will last longer than your house if well coated. For some uninformed reasons, 90% of homes ive seen use plain sheet, and a gate of such value cost from #70,000 upwards, depending on the wrought iron designs on it. The best gate is checkered gate, and the cheapest with less design goes for around #150,000 (add an extra 15k for transportation). And dont forget labours fees, we are projecting roughly 100k...Do the total maths...I've done this hundred times. if you want to do this yourself, write me back here...I'd share details of how to go about it... B: If the land is water-logged, get someone to supervise it...if he's saying trash, post it here...there are many engineers here who would advice you. I just think fencing is so lay-man-ish. Even lawyer, the mod of the site can teach you how to go about it. Cheers |
