You can't blame him for that totally. It's a thing of honor for someone to trust you with his money and pay you without seeing you. When you have such level of trust bestowed upon you, it behooves on you that you respect yourself and do what is right. A nairalander who goes by the name Salihu, once paid money in full to me without seeing me. He was based in Minna at that time and works with ibb specialist hospital. His colleagues thought he was crazy but when he came, saw his car and called them to affirm everything was as I told him, they were shocked (considering the bad reputation lagosians have). Life would have been easier if we all could be a little bit more honest and responsible.

At times we middleman or car dealers who are marketing cars face big challengers from car owner as they will never disclosed the main issue for there car! Or main reason for sale so instead some car owner will parkage it and put it on sale... life experienced:on this delivered SUV that has resulted to this:on nairaland: and when we sell and give the owner the cash. They move. But they will never openup the condition of the car. Till when new user start to used it and it will sound as if it the dealer that at fault.
But lesson learnt. Check thoroughly no matter the hurryness
And do proper investigation on the car before posting online or marketing it anywere for sale.

Nairalanders please if you are in Lagos always buy your cars in Lagos. If you are in Portharcourt , always buy your cars in Portharcourt. If you are in Enugu, please buy your cars in Enugu. If you are in Aba, please buy your cars in Aba. But if you are so much interested in crossing the boundaries to buy your cars, please make sure you report to the police in the area you have travelled for buying the car. When you arrive in the location where the car is parked for sale, please look for the nearest police to report the purpose of your visit in the area. After reporting to the police, then you have gotten their back up, so you can go ahead to inspect the car before payment. If anything goes wrong, you can go back to the police to report the problem and you are safe at least you can get a refund at all costs. Please always inspect the cars before payment. Do not hesitate to inspect the cars first and do not hesitate to involve the police when buying a used or tokunbo car. Cityhood is a thief for doing this to someone.
