While I agree with your thoughts in terms of NORTH/SOUTH Ratio... This is not a problem perculiar to the north... It is a national disgrace. Go to the east - You find teachers who teach purely in igbo language, - Go to the south west (Not talking of Lagos o) I mean the original ile-iwe girama, students cant even spell their names... The situation is pathetic! Its is just bad I believe that's why it was discussed at FEC retreat.

Doesnt matter... God's favor is paramount! even if you read adult education, you can get a decent job. A first class Chemical engineer can end up teaching in primary school in Nigeria today... Just make sure you watch video tutorials and gain some other valuable skills while at school. Entrepreneurship is the way!

based on your budget, i can see you really dont mean business so Nigerian host may not be bad. Once you start getting serious, move on to greener pastures. Ive been in the business of web for a decade plus, using a Nigerian host may not be ideal for SEO, SECURITY and the likes
