Me I am comfortable oooo. I earn from my ubers (2cars) about of 20k or more a week, also make $150 to $200 a week from forex/binary trading and about 120k basic monthly salaries from my job excluding bonuses and some profit from my OK business. So believe me when I say I am comfortable in Nigeria. Alright, good for you. Nigeria really suits you then. |

Everything in life is 50/50. To get the better 50 you need to work hard and SMART. As for me I am comfortable in Nigeria and I have set plans and foundations to double or triple my income by 2023.and believe me when I say I sacrifice some pleasures to play those foundations. Alright then. Everyone can not leave the country anyway, I used to go against the idea of leaving the country too but not anymore due to the current state of things in the country, in fact I support people to leave now. It's all about what works for each individual anyway. May God keep elevating you and make you very successful in your businesses. God bless Nigeria. |

Gerrard59: See eh, I don't know about others but to me, I prefer a system that works to making a whole lot of money. Hitherto, I thought of going entrepreneurial (fortunately, I've everything an entrepreneur needs to start) but after analysing the country's future and seeing how things are going, I'm not interested anymore. I prefer a salaried work in a place where things work. I've not seen electricity for more than a quarter! It has been generators all through and trust me, the maintenance, fuelling cost no be here.
Having lots of money is good oh but what is the point having such in a place where one gets harassed by SARS, potential to get kidnapped, poor health facilities, unemployed people around who can become criminals overnight, poor infrastructure, multiple taxation etc? The last few months have reinforced my interest in staying in a place where things work. Is it harassment from SARS? Multiple taxation? Poor infrastructure? Please note, I'm not complaining but pointing out the realities. As a result, I cannot blame anyone who is interested in relocating provided it's legal.
My grandfather told my father Nigeria will be better, my dad told me same. Should I tell my children same? Thank you for this write up bro. You said it how it is. It's what I have been trying to tell Emotionss |

bishopkay: My brother no let good news from far about business fool you oo. Of the businesses you've mentioned here, I've got first hand experience in at least 3-4 and I'd tell you Bro it's not always rosy inside like it looks from far oo
You see especially that Uber, except you be like me when no dey fear to fight or beat person, bros no do am ooo. If na you Wan drive the motor by yourself sha no wahala!
Mini gas refill station, didn't you read the news on how government wants to ban them now? Plus it's not rosy too oo... na town when better gas plants no many nai e go move.
Buying food to sell in large quantities, good business until those market women run you out of business Lol this na very personal experience.
Summary of what I'm saying Bro is this... Running a business in Nigeria ain't easy just take note. You may not have my kind of experience but 70% of people in the business know what I'm talking about.
The best businesses to invest into in Nigeria now are tech startups and Innovations. Businesses that already have a crowd should be avoided as much as possible. Better to create a niche than fight for recognition in an already saturated market Thank you for telling him how it is o bro. They think business is that easy. I laugh in swahili. |

Even those traveling out should have plan B because it might not work out as you predict. You can still lose your job, get mugged and even failing in your business outside Nigeria. True that but at least one should try and if it doesn't work, your country can not chase you away, one can always try again or decide to do another thing in Nigeria. When you lose your job abroad, chances of getting another is high even if it is not a dream job, it keeps you going. We all know the system over there is better than the one we have here in Nigeria. My family deserves to have the things I didn't have. They shouldn't face this hell of a country again. Aren't u tired of how things are in this country already? |

TempleHouse: Why would reasonable people leave an amazing county with beautiful weather, beautiful women and migrate to a country where you're not welcome and the weather is very naughty I would rather remain in Nigeria and fight for my place! I used to have this your believe before until the country started showing it's true color by getting worse everyday. Think outside the box, it's never about you alone, your family deserves better. |

I have and can still do it again. Nigerians may not like them but we need to learn some business arithmetic from the igbos. While some of us are seeing limitations in 3 million, a business minded igbo man is see unlimited opportunities... 3 million is more than enough to make it big in Nigeria. All you need is vision, sacrifice and determination to succeed no matter what. It will not be easy but very much possible. I admire your zeal but you have to understand that there should always be plan b for everything one does in life, the Nigerian environment don't always give rooms for plan b, even those working in offices aren't given plan B, they can not lose there jobs with the hope of getting another. Nigeria is a 'one chance' country. I wouldn't want to subject myself or future kids to that. It's way deeper bruh, try to see the bigger picture. It's not about you alone, your family too, they will have opportunities to be a lot of things out there in developed countries. Some Nigerian parents gave birth to athletes, therapists, doctors, lawyers, actors, sportsmen and more overseas because they relocated to countries where dreams come true, you can too. Dream big bruh. |

1) phone accessories business 2) boutique 3) Uber ( with 3million I can buy 2 cars for it) 4) mini super market 5) buying and selling of food stuffs in large quantities. 6) selling of grade A OK shoes and clothes. 7) mini gas refilling station And many more.
The ideas are there but na capital to take start be my problem (for now) Good businesses but do you think those are enough reasons to remain in Nigeria. I'll only support your idea only if you can multiply your profits from the business geometrically within a short period of time. You'll pay house rent, cater for your children(school fees and likes), what if you have issue with any of this businesses, what will you fall back on? (police harassment remaining constant) I'll rather travel out to a country where things work with that cash, there's always a lot of options to choose from there. |

And I'll only travel outside for vacation or to go have my kids so they can be nationalities of some good countries. |

TIGRITIS: Op, I agree with all but number 1 is not pocket friendly.
It boils down to consumption which still tells on your pocket.
If I must run my car engine for a fairly long time so that the battery which is partly discharged during starting can regain its lost charge, it means I have to burn more fuel to do that. There is also the issue of wear and tear all just to recharge battery. I will rather save my fuel and engine cumulatively, when the battery finally dies, I get another one. I think that will be more economical imo. Abi, you get a point. All car batteries will eventually die anyway. It's better to just always buy a good car battery. |

wandeay: What about charging phones inside car without the engine running?
This shuts off my battery each time I forget to disconnect phones and off power, but I think my battery is not original because despite the fact that I bought it newly about 5 months ago, it runs down faster than I think it should. I stopped charging in my car without the engine running a long time ago else the battery wouldn't last, it's just like u leave the headlight on without the engine running for a complete night. |

I want them to get back together. He should have played his card well and learned to be responsible when they were together. Tiwa was his opportunity. He obviously wants her back now but it's hard for a lady to get back to u when she's gotten over u. If he's very boxed up now, they might have gotten back together because women only want to be with those they respect, and we all know money is respect. They are really trying friend, ordinary VIO held me down like a thief in Lagos, removed my plate number, me and other friends began to beg them like tomorrow no dey, they were acting like small gods until I still had to pay 30k to get my plate number back just because of a document that expired in my vehicle the previous week o. This could be a set-up. The Uber driver might have set him up. Obtaining na normal thing for Naija police especially in Lagos, RRS don lead me to atm to withdraw 120k plus from my account once else they would av killed me that night while I was leaving Lagos that year. They insisted that I was a yahoo boy because I own a car and I was using a smartphone containing my forex account and other legitimate businesses online. They'll take u to d nearest atm and withdraw the maximum limit they can. Sars/Police are brutal everywhere but Lagos own get high degree, kudos to those living in Lagos, I hail u na. Relocated from Lagos basically more because of this kind of ppl. They are nothing but dream killers. |
