It appears this forum loves posts with snakes. You would have noticed the speed with which posts including snakes or it's pictures make front page.

I have created this thread to educate the moderators to label any such posts with "viewer discretion"

Not everyone enjoys seeing snakes or pictures of snakes. Don't ruin people's day just because they chose to visit your website.

Please I would like to ask just for clarification, did you mean to say IRCC asked you for more information on a job you didn't place in your personal history? Or you placed it in your personal history and then they requested more information? Or was it placed in your work history?

I dont recall ever putting it in my personal history. But as I had made an earlier application years ago through an agent who wasn't transparent, It is possible they may have put it.

KEY POINT TO NOTE: Be very honest, in most cases IRCC has more info about you either through checks or through something you may have insinuated in your application. So to avoid misrepresentation, have these in mind when arranging your story

Got my application approved. Passports came in last week. It has been God all the way. Thank you all for all the educative posts here. Information here on nairaland is worth even more than legal advice.

Maybe also indicate clearly at the beginning of your LOE/submission that this is not part of your work experience and does not count towards your CRS (based on statement in bold). I assume you added it to personal history NOT WE and that if these self employed jobs are removed you still have at least 3 years of WE or your CRS remains unchanged.

External sources could also be certificate of incorporation or registration, if you have it.
