Hi guys. Please still yet to submit my pr application. Please can anyone advise how to get Nigerian police clearance certificate from UK.

Please I have got some information from Nigerian Embassy website.

I understand I need a letter of introduction from
Nigerian embassy to the finger print agency (in this case, Scotland Yard in Uk)

Then I will then send fingerprints with letter to Alagbon for criminal check.

Please do I just show up at Nigerian embassy with the documents and letters will be given to me.


Or is it possible to have someone REQUEST THE PCC from Nigeria without a EVER NEEDING A fingerprint at all.

HR at my place of work has only given me a standard confirmation of employment with them with the details that ircc expect in a reference letter.

Can I use this in place of a reference letter. As this does not explicitly recommend me for a Canadian PR as most reference letters do

Yes, in Nigeria, the Police Character Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate/Criminal record are often used interchangeably, and they both generally serve the same purpose. Both documents are issued by the Nigerian Police Force to certify that an individual does not have a criminal record or has not been involved in any criminal activity.

Hi,

Firstly,…..You may have filled the 2nd one in work history too in error. Check your profile carefully again…If you can get the 2nd one, please do.
If not submit for the first one + an LOE explaining why you can’t provide the 2nd one and mention you are not claiming point for it. You have to be very sure you didn’t get point for the 2nd job though as your CRS may be recalculated.

Secondly,… attach a Letter of Explanation (LOE) in placeholder for passport- that you started the baby’s passport process already + evidence/docs from NIS that shows when the passport for baby will be ready+ birth certificate and mention that you will upload via webform immediately you get it.

Lastly,….attach blank sheet per IRCC recommendation.

Thank you. I have checked. I did indeed put two work experiences for myself and one for my spouse hence they were asking for proof for each of these periods. I have gone to delete them.

Please guys, I have some questions regarding submitting my PR Application

Firstly, I have specified in my profile that I only have 1yr foreign work experience but now asked to upload two employments record as my personal history says I have worked in these places. Note that I am only claiming points for 1

Secondly, My baby does not have a passport, only birth certificate. Even though we applied for one, it will not be till 3months time which is more than the 60days required to submit the application.

Lastly I read that we are no longer required to do upfront medical exam but was asked to upload proof.


Please what do I do in these situations. Help a brother

Since you’ve received nomination, I’m not sure it matters now.

I think you should simply include the new info in you express entry profile and update the POF and chill for ITA.

Guys I’m in a fix now. I made OINP application March this year. I got nominated last week. However, we had a baby in June and I had not know I was supposed to inform them. Please will my nomination be withdrawn? Do I inform them now?

Secondly, what is the source of the money? Youll need to give a valid explanation of where the money came from (e.g, from asset sale or gift from parents, all with accompanying documentation). It obviously cannot be borrowed.
