I do need some advice here. So, a close friend of mine is having his wedding in Texas in April 2023, and he emailed me an invite. I applied for the B1/B2 US visa around November 2022 for me, wifey and my daughter because I didn't want to attend it alone. Our interview is set for early March 2023. Fast forward to mid-January 2023, we figured out that wifey is 22 weeks pregnant. No signs or symptoms till she complained about tummy ache, and we had to visit the hospital and we were told the good news.

We've never applied for an American Visa as a family before, neither has wifey applied before we got married. Our daughter was born in Nigeria. So, since we are hoping to get an approved visa for the wedding, why not just give birth over there since her EDD is a little after the wedding.

Bear in mind that when wifey was filling her DS-160 form, visit to the U.S. was strictly about the wedding we will be attending, nothing has to do with childbirth there because at that time, we didn't know. Now, my question is, do we just go for our interview and declare a visit for the wedding and tell the VO that wifey will stay back a little longer to give birth or we just stick to the original story of the wedding and hope for the best.

By the time of our interview, wifey will be 30 weeks plus gone which means the baby bump will be visible.

I need your best advice here, please.

Hi house, I want to know how airbnb.com works for those that have used it in the past. Do I have to make payment for at least 1 month to be able to book the place down? is there any other alternative site I can use to make apartment bookings, I'll appreciate some help here. I am filling this DS-160 form and I need to add an address of where DW will be staying since we have no one in the states, any help on this aspect too will be of great value to me.
