Copied: Please rest assured I am not promoting this issue of tithing. I wrote this only after I saw a very recent video of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo going on and on about the issue and Daddy Freeze. I thought it was an overkill and avoidable. THE BATTLE VS. THE WAR PASTOR ASHIMOLOWO, ITS NOT ABOUT TITHES. ITS ABOUT LEADERSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY Dear Pastor Matthew, Greetings. I am not sure you may remember. Many years ago you accompanied my dear friend and brother Bishop Abraham Olaleye to my then Ilupeju office. A few times we have also been on the same Virgin flights either going to London or Lagos. I have just viewed your message at TREM where you spoke on Daddy Freeze and indeed the title of your message was on Tithing. In my opinion, Daddy Freeze will appear to have finally been shouted down from many eminent pulpits, but the issue he raised has raised the real issues, i.e. *Financial Accountability in the church *Judicious use of church resources *Modest living by the clergy *What the Bible truly says about tithing and a few doctrinal issues etc. He has been called names but oddly none has used the Bible to repudiate what he said. My advice to senior evangelical leadership like you is very simple. AFTER ALL THE NOISE, NAME CALLING, STOUT DEFENCE, SPINS, BRAVADO etc., GO BACK INTO YOUR CONCLAVES AND HONESTLY CONSIDER THE MAIN ISSUE DADDY FREEZE RAISED AND THE OTHER ISSUES THAT FLOWED FROM IT. Pastor, no doubt Freeze is a very boisterous young man, appears to have little respect for traditions and protocols etc., BUT HE RAISED KEY ISSUES AND SUPPORTED THEM WITH SCRIPTURES. AND NO ONE, I REPEAT, NO ONE COULD CONTRADICT HIM FROM THE SAME BIBLE. IN MY OPINION GOD HAS USED DADDY FREEZE TO GIVE PENTECOSTAL LEADERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW MANY THINGS AND SET CORRECTIONS IN PLACE. THEY SHOULD NOT ALLOW THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE COVERED WITH THEIR HASTE TO SHOW THAT THEY ARE RIGHT AND HE, WRONG. Something profound has been set in motion and the Pentecostal movement cannot be the same again. For the first time the leadership has been successfully challenged in a major doctrine. And either we like to admit or not Daddy Freeze literally received a standing ovation. Pastor, in my opinion, Daddy Freeze is a passionate believer. He means well too. His style and communication may be different and even sometimes irreverent, but he has been supported by many older eminent men of the collar like Pastor ADELAJA. We should pay some attention to him and simply not harass him off. He should be taken seriously. We should concentrate on what he said and what he has set in motion and not the fact that he beats his wife and other trite, mundane issues. Many Ministers do worse: one of them said on YouTube that masturbation is not wrong! And a Minister like you and father in the faith should not have gone to TREM to openly and maliciously talk about Freeze's domestic challenges with his wife and son. It was wrong and Unchristian and uncharitable. Permit me to illustrate with one of my favourite Yoruba proverbs on this matter of publicly discussing Daddy Freeze's personal life and challenges as a response to the issues he raised: "There is no one that we will inspect his or her anus and not find excreta; it will be either dry or fresh". Freeze may have domestic issues, but a Minister and father in the faith like you should not be using it maliciously against him. It was mean. And as you must know, we all have our dark secrets. What I am saying Pastor is that it would have been better and in line with our faith if you made your point with scriptures and you then went along to pray for Daddy Freeze asking God to correct him if he’s wrong. More importantly that God should heal his family. This is LOVE. This is CHRISTIANITY Sir. For those in the Spirit, the debate is not about Tithing; that just triggered it off. THE DEBATE IS ABOUT LEADERSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY. The precocious enfant terrible may have lost the battle, but certainly not the war. Best personal regards. LA

There are two Major scams I will not forget in my entire life. 1. When MTN promised Nigerians aeroplane. The promo says if you recharge up to 1k a month you will win gulf stream 360jet. I don't know who won that plane. Maybe in the spirit world. 2. When APC packaged Buhari and wore him suit painting a picture of a transformed democrat with integrity. Nigerians tot that even if Buhari won't be corrupt. He won't tolerate it around him.that one done done super story now. Malaria drug wey person dey buy N850 is now N1580.D Next Mosquito I lay my hands on will feel D full force of dis Buhari Regime. THE BUHARI TRAGEDY; HOW DID WE GET HERE? That President Muhammadu Buhari lacks both the intellectual, mental and emotional wherewithal to preside over even an Umunna meeting in his Daura village has never been in doubt. He remains a pathetic excuse for a President. Even the dark Goggled tyrant, Abacha, wasn't this terrible. Abacha was simply a thieving dictator and most of his tyranny were actually not unconnected with his desire to bury the June12 ghost. So there is a sense in which it can be argued that Abacha's madness had a method. But this man here?? He seems quite uniquely sophisticated in the ways of inflicting pain, misery, death, wars and woes on his fellow Nigerians. It does appear he enjoys it, too. His is a govt deeply rooted in official roquery, banditry and brigandage. Under this Katsina born ex-soldier, official bigotry, clannishness and demonic nepotism have all been institutionalized. In a nutshell, President Buhari is running an apartheid govt premised on Northernization, Fulanization and Islamization. Ironically, even in his own govt, he's but a pawn in the hands of the powerful #ScionsOfDanfodio calling the shot. But, This is not even my greatest pain. My greatest 'wonderment' remains how 15million men and women, some of whom lay claim to superior knowledge and higher intellect, failed to see the Buhari fraud for what it has always been despite the signs that were all too glaring for even a blind man not to have seen. History is alive and well with the records of gross human right abuses, tyranny, first class bigotry and criminal disdain for democratic processes and procedures which characterized Buhari's short but iniquitious stint in power some three decades ago. Practically everything happening under him today happened during his first missionary journey. The tragedy of this whole thing is that most of the so called intellectuals who foisted this disaster on Nigerians actually witnessed the calamity that was his 1st coming. In fact, some of them were direct victims. Under decree 4 promulgated specifically to gag free press, Buhari jailed Tunde Thompson and Nduka Irabor for publishing stories he says were embarrassing to his regime. But in 2015, Tunde Thompson was in Buhari campaign team chanting #SaiBaba. A tragic irony, isn't it? Even before 2015 poll, there were clear signs signalling the disaster that this man has always been. So, How did Professors, PhD holders and highly lettered men/women convince themselves that an ex-treasonous dictator who failed woefully even with a loaded gun and a suspended constitution in his much younger age was the right man to fix a 21st century Nigeria under a democracy with its attendant bureaucratic bottleneck ![]() Just how ![]() He (Buhari) didn't initiate even a single economic program during his time as head of state. For over 3 decades that he was out of power, he did absolutely nothing to improve himself in anyway. He never run any business except his 150 legendary homosexual cows. He delivered no lecture. Wrote no book and organised no workshop even if it is on islamization and Fulanization -his forte. He made no attempt to contribute to the society in any way. All he did was come out every 4 years to contest, loose the election, engineer his minions to soak "Dogs and Baboons" in blood only to go back and wait for another 4 years. In 2011, he contested on the platform of the defunct CPC which had only one state of Nassarawa, yet, he vehemently refused to concede defeat. Even when his supporters were killing Nigerians in a post election violence provoked by his pre-election utterances, Buhari rejected all effort by the govt of Jonathan to get him to halt the bloodshed by condemning the violence. In the end, over 800 Nigerians including youth corps members lay lifeless. Yet, Men who spent years suckling from the breast of knowledge swore that this same man was the political "Messiah" needed to gift Nigerians with Eldorado How? I've heard some ex-Buharists justify their Buharism by claiming that Jonathan's incompetence made Buhari an option. But I believe its only a foolish car owner that will knowingly replace his incompetent driver with an unlicensed one who doesn't know the position of the ignition key in the vehicle. Education is supposed to equip one with the mental capacity to discern. Yet, our Professors, Lawyers, Doctors and Academics all failed to discern the Buhari fraud -something Nkume my illiterate village clown was able to do successfully. Could it be that our education is truly over-rated?? |
By Dele Momodu Fellow Nigerians, I’ve always wondered what drives or propels the man, former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. For real, I have never seen a man so fastidious about his dream and so obstinate about achieving a lifelong ambition to be the number one Nigerian Citizen. I’ve followed his trajectory with keen interest since 1993 when he took on both Chief Moshood Abiola and Baba Gana Kingibe, in an epic Presidential primary, that Chief Abiola ultimately won. His formidability we were told was a result of the influence of his godfather and political colossus, Major General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, now of blessed memory. Chief Abiola actually reached out to the General, as he was fondly called, to prevail on Atiku to pull out of the race and support him. A deal was subsequently struck, between Abiola and Yar’Adua, for Atiku to be Abiola’s running-mate. Everything looked good on paper until the powerful and influential Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governors threw spanners in the works, forcing Abiola to renege on his word. Whilst Abiola wanted Atiku, the Governors led by the irrepressible Olusegun Osoba, from Abiola’s home State of Ogun, insisted on Abiola picking Kingibe. They convinced Abiola that it was dangerous to pick Atiku who would have been more loyal and too submissive to his godfather. I have no doubt that from that moment onwards, the June 12 Presidential election was already threatened and endangered. According to insiders, the General was so miffed and enraged that he swore Abiola would not be President for dumping his godson. Efforts were made by different personages to settle the matter, but it seemed the camaraderie was over between Abiola and Yar’Adua who, once upon a time, were successful business partners at African Ocean Lines. Anyway, Atiku was kicked out of the race to fight another day. Abiola won the Presidential election eventually but was never allowed to assume power. The June 12 election fallout led to a cataclysmic eruption that consumed many of the big players, including Abiola, his wife, Alhaja Kudirat, Major-General Yar’Adua and General Sani Abacha. The boss of bosses, General Olusegun Obasanjo, escaped only by the whiskers. He was jailed but came back to be President. Ironically, the same Atiku who was not allowed to be the Vice-Presidential candidate in 1993 became the substantive Vice President in 1999, when he ran, and won, with Obasanjo. Whilst Obasanjo emerged, in a bid to assuage the betrayed and wounded Yoruba, Atiku’s choice appears to have been predicated on the sense of injustice that he had suffered as a result of being dumped by Abiola. Everything initially ran smoothly between Obasanjo and Atiku in their first term in office, from 1999 to 2003. However, the relationship collapsed when Atiku started showing interest in the number one position. I will not bore you with the rest of that fiasco, including the anecdotal humbling of Obasanjo who allegedly had to beg his deputy, Atiku, to allow him a second term. My mission was to provide some background to Atiku’s uncommon trajectory. He has pursued his dream since 1993 and has never given up. That was 24 years ago. Indeed, Atiku has been in partisan politics for 28 years but only served in government for eight years. He has criss-crossed different political parties in search of that magic wand that could give him his heart’s desire. It has been a painful journey. He’s been dissed and lampooned as a serial “decampee” famed for wandering endlessly in the wilderness of Nigerian politics. That, for many people, is a major weakness which signals integrity issues. There are other minuses weighing on him like an albatross. How does he deal with these very serious issues of perception or misperception? The opportunity came for me to engage him very critically, and very privately, yesterday afternoon in Lagos. A mutual friend had called to arrange the meeting at Atiku’s behest. I gladly accepted not only as I was anxious to bombard him with many nagging questions, but also because by some quirk of fate, the political gladiators for the number one hot seat in Nigeria seem to feel that a session with me is a sine qua non for their aspiration. I’m deeply humbled by that trust. The meeting was arranged for Lagos. Atiku had arrived on Thursday. I arrived in Lagos yesterday afternoon from Abuja where I had been the Chief Presenter of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi’s book, On a Platter of Gold, chronicling President Goodluck Jonathan’s twilight days as President. I checked into my hotel just before 12 noon and put a call through to his room. He told me to give him a short time to freshen up and invite me over. He’s obviously been doing a lot of consultations and was working well into the early mornings. I dozed off. Suddenly, I was awoken from my slumber by banging on my door. I stood up to look through the peephole and was pleasantly surprised to see the most-talked about politician of the moment at my door. I opened the door and Atiku immediately apologised for the intrusion. He came without any aide, so we were both comfortable to talk frankly. I thanked him for the honour of actually coming to me and asked if he won’t mind me asking some tough questions. He said that was fine and I should feel free. My first shot was about his moving from Party to Party. Does this not make him look desperate and unserious? He must have answered this question a thousand times because he wasted no time in answering very calmly and confidently: “There is nothing wrong with it. Ours is a fledgling democracy of barely two decades since the end of the last military regime. What it means is that the political parties are yet to mature and are going through constant transformations and changes. That is why even President Buhari has been able to move from party to party, including ANPP, CPC and now APC. And for those who read about world history and political books like I do, they will know that Abraham Lincoln, Sir Winston Churchill and others went through so much before achieving their dreams…” He went further: “I’m not different. I know what I want for my country. I’ve served Nigeria in different capacities and I am one of the most experienced leaders around today. There is no part of Nigeria I’m not familiar with. I have friends everywhere. They know me and I know them. The benefit of being around for so long is that they have come to know me for certain principles and know that I have a rich knowledge of Nigeria and what it would take to move us to the height of greatness. They can also trust me that I’m not coming to government to steal their money. God has blessed me with business acumen. How can you run a nation if you cannot run your own business? I run my businesses to international standards. Let any of those who want to compete with me show what they have managed successfully. I’ve lifted over 45,000 families out of joblessness and poverty through my microfinance company in my State Adamawa and we’ve have empowered mostly women. The good news is these women have been very honest. Returns on our loans have been about 98 percent. They have not disappeared with the loans given then. We plan to replicate this nationwide…” I asked if he was obsessed with being President at all costs. His answer was an emphatic, No! He asked rhetorically why he should not give back some of his experience and exposure to a country that has given him so much? Why should he allow incompetent people to run down the country when God has given him the talent and wherewithal to lift up Nigeria? I told him the belief out there is that he is a corrupt man and that the stain won’t be easy to remove. His former boss, General Olusegun Obasanjo, has sold us that line, and would stop at nothing to regale the world that Atiku is a thief who nobody should vote for. Atiku’s response was very concise and assertive: “I have the highest regards for my boss. He gave me eight years to serve Nigeria under him. We had our differences but we both tried our best. But on the issue of corruption, I have challenged anyone, anywhere, who has any evidence of corruption against me to come forward. I’m sure they would have combed everywhere trying to find anything incriminating against me, but they have not found it, or they are still searching. Dele, I’m throwing that challenge again, let them bring out whatever they have on me…” I followed with a bazooka and asked him “how come you are running away from the United States of America? What offence have you committed to warrant not being able to visit, since all this time?” Atiku fired back at me: “It is the sole prerogative of America to determine who they want in their country or not. I’m not running away from America. I applied, but wasn’t issued a visa. However, they did not decline me categorically either. They’ve only said my application is going through administrative process. This is not peculiar to me. For about 15 years, Buhari could not enter America on account of religious considerations. The current Indian Prime Minister, Modi, suffered the same fate for years. Today, he is being treated to red carpet treatment in America.. I fly to different parts of the world, including Europe, if America wanted me, it would be so easy for them to reach out to their allies…” We soon dovetailed to the nitty-gritty of politics. Why did he not wait to contest the primaries in APC first and see the outcome before running away? I felt this was defeatist! His response: “After Buhari won the election, he was no longer interested in the Party that made him President. Every activity stopped and not even the Party Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, could take any decision. I called Chief Oyegun a few times to tell him our Party was dying slowly but he told me he would not do anything unless he got clearance from the President. At a stage, I gathered about 18 prominent members and began to meet in the hope that we can re-energise Party activities, but some people lied to the President that I wanted to use the forum to launch my Presidential campaign. That forum became simply dead on arrival. No BOT, no NEC meetings, as stipulated in our Constitution. The Party became a one-man property. Everyone grumbles behind the President’s back but they are too timid to raise a voice against the illegalities being perpetuated. I should be bold enough to know what I want, and can do so at my age, so I decided to leave…” So, where is he going from here? He says he hasn’t formally declared for any Party, but is sure PDP is waiting to welcome him back into the Party he co-founded with others at the end of military rule. I asked if he has any guarantee of getting the PDP ticket. He told me why he should get it: “Nothing is absolutely certain in this life, but PDP needs a candidate with the brightest chance and that can only come from someone who has major experience, exposure, knowledge about running an economy, who is a Nationalist and not a sectionalist and whose brand cannot be intimidated in anyway by that of the current President. If PDP picks a weak candidate, then the Party is doomed. Some of those whose names are being touted and bandied about have not grown beyond their immediate domains.” If he gets the PDP ticket, is he confident he can beat a sitting President and Buhari for that matter? “I will definitely beat him this time. He has wasted a lot of his massive goodwill. A lot of people are disgruntled but keeping quiet and lying low. Our youths are suffering terribly and now they are being sold into slavery. Everyone knows my track record of inviting and attracting a good team and giving them the opportunity to work professionally. Nigerians are tired of leaders who cannot think big and work big. Dele, I will be ready from day one…” Is he not afraid of Buhari? “No, definitely not. Buhari is free to contest and I’m free to contest. And Nigerians will make their choice.” I could see that glow in his eyes. He sounded determined and more prepared at this time, than at any other time. Will Atiku play a joker as his last card in 2019? Time will tell http://thebossnewspapers.com Home Headline Pendulum: One On One Session With Atiku Abubakar December 1, 20171

sarrki:Emergency indeed, go through my posts and signature. Long in the game. You have a lot of work to do. People are disenchanted. 80 percent of my friends who stuck out their neck for Buhari in 2015 will rather not vote than vote Buhari again. All Atiku needs is to convince them with realistic programs |
sarrki:I am amazed at how you do your own political permutations. Buhari won Jonathan a non northerner with less than 2.5million votes. Atiku is core north a grassroot politician at that. All Atiku needs from the North is 4-5million votes and he is home and dry. He is already building alliance in the north. People are disenchanted with Buhari. Especially down south. Learn from Jonathans woeful loss. His men all over keep assuring him all is well. He should carry go. Same thing you lots are doing now. People are not All fools. They cannot find anything tangible from this government to hold. Bokoharam is sweeping lives weekly. Have you read the Article on Buhari this morning on Guardian UK and Washington Post. Election is beyond the rants here. When Buhari starts campaign. People will remind him all his promises. You guys need to work harder... |
BMC guys get target or else no pay. Please understand with the op |
Ballmer: |
Ok |
I don't think Atiku camp will make such heavy allegation without evidence. They must have researched and found out that even Indian man was also not allowed into U.S In months to come a lot will play out. Atiku has started his campaign in Ernest. Buhari handlers must start early. I remind them daily that Buhari won election with less than 2.5 million votes even when he got block votes from the north. 2019, he will surely loose some votes to any northerner coming out. And the battlefield is the south. The 2015 election was just to close for Buhari to think it will be an easy ride. When you talk his zombies on nairaland says he is IPOB president. Let campaign start and we shall see. APC has not performed to have people easily vote them in 2019. |
Democracy at work. Make it an open contest |
Ok |
Fulanis will be endangered soon. Let them continue |
Soldiers will retaliate. Fulanis know. In the next 15 years. Fulanis will be endangered species if they continue like this |
So this BMC thingy is true. And you people say Nigeria will be good. Na fat lie Lalasticlala people must know that while we argue here on how to make Nigeria good. Youths have sold their conscience and collected change |
Ok na |
[quote author=sapele914 post=62888322]I don't blame them,Apc did not allow them steal money and the banks have started calling to ask for the payments of the loans they used to contest in 2015. Apc will defeat the other political parties so woefully in 2019 it will be so one sided it will not even be considered a contest. Some irresponsible people claim they want power back but they have not yet given account of their stewardship when they held the reigns of power. They are just deceiving themselves PDP. People Deceiving People. Bola Tinubu and President Buhari are similar to Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen all the way to the World championship or maybe Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O' Neal, they can't be stopped. The CEO of IPC homes takes all his staff to holiday abroad on yearly basis. This year it was at Singapore. He shared his views and experience on this year's trip Of all the things I saw in Singapore, this for me is the most profound. "We built a nation" a statement at the entrance of the National Museum and Yes they did! They built a nation with literally no resources, absolutely nothing but their brains. They dont even have sand to build with. They import sand for construction, they import dirty water to purify for drinking, the odds against them were great yet they turned around every little disadvantage in their favour not because they prayed but because they used their brains. Their passport today is the strongest in the world and their economy is super solid and their currency is super strong. Nigeria should have a museum with our ruling elite posing around the statement saying " We Ruined a Nation" because they did!

APC has not collapsed and will remain in tact till they organize a national convention. Let it happen and there will be a mass Exodus. That's their fear. Atiku, Kwankwaso, Lamido, Babangida Aliu and most bigwigs that Buhari sidelined are talking with some northern governors and big wigs. 2018 will bring wonders to APC |
If it's about a church or pastor.it will hit front page in seconds |

Are you all surprised? Magu went to face the senate this year and they asked him how much has been recovered. he said he doesn't know. its like asking a man how many children he has and he says he doesn't know. BOLA TINUBU AND THE BUHARI GAMBLE. By Charles Ogbu. Buhari is not here because the North or the Caliphate is well sophisticated in politics. No! Buhari is in Asorock today simply because of the insatiable greed of one man, Tinubu. All the brain-resetting lies and demonic propaganda including all the packaging such as Buhari wearing Igbo attire and even going to church plus his smart move of refusing to take part in the debate before the 2015 poll etc, are all Tinubu's handiwork. For the sake of honesty, I must point out here that the ex-Lagos state governor is a political genius. An evil genius, some would argue but a genius all the same. A betting man would bet that the whole idea was the hope of a Deja Vu of the Yar'Adua situation. Knowing Buhari's medical history, Tinubu was expecting the Yar'adua-zation of the Buhari character to enable him (Tinubu) become Nigerian president by proxy. But he forgot one important fact: In war (politics is war. Bloodless war) to achieve victory, you must not just have a very good strategy, you must equally know your enemies plan. Tinubu failed to read the handwriting on the wall. If he did, he would know that the Buhari presidency was not a Buhari project. It was a very big project initiated by the feudal #ChildrenOfTheCaliphate with a view to returning power to the North at all cost. In this project, everything and everyone was expandable. Even Buhari who is theoretically the 'owner' of this project is but a mere pawn in the whole arrangement as recent events have shown. The fulanis don't share power. Even if Buhari dies today, Osinbajo can only be in office as his replacement but he can never be in power. So either way, Tinubu had reckoned without the witches. The greatest lesson in this is that without the active connivance and complicity of Southerners, the fulanis are actually not as powerful as they think they are neither are the Southerners as powerless as we think. 3 times Buhari tried. 3 times he failed, even with the almighty Caliphate behind him. Until the #ScionsOfDanfodio discovered Tinubu's greed button and began pressing it. Tragically funny enough, while the educationally disadvantaged Northerners have 'colonized' everything and are in absolute control, lording it over the South, the Southern houses seem cursed with senseless and destructive competition like Dwarfs trying to ascertain who is the tallest amongst themselves forgetting that tallest or shortest, a dwarf remains a dwarf. The ex-federal lawmaker is a uniquely talented politician but his greed crowded his sense of reasoning. His 2015 romance with Buhari was an epic miscalculation. He should have learnt from the Afonja mistake. He didn't. And here we are. In the end, History will remember Senator Bola Ahmed Asiwaju Tinubu as a man who fought to dethrone a tyrant (Abacha) but ended up cursing his Compatriots with an even deadlier cold blooded death merchant (Buhari) in a bid to quench his bottomless greed. A shame, isn't it? |
