The USSD codes should be the worst fraud , alongside discos in Nigeria. Immediately you dial their codes, the N6.8 is deducted even when the transaction is not successful as it is most of the time . The poorer the network, the more the transaction fails, the more you have to redial, the more they deduct from you, even when the banks reversed the transaction, the USSD deductions remain

exactly it should have been 6naira per hour. Not per dial. Within the hour you dial the ussd and have time to run the transaction even if it failed

yes. I upgraded it to sad and it can with 4g ram I added another 4gb ram making a total 8gb.

They are pricy but I go for old Lenovo because it was cheaper. 70k. I discovered it doesn’t have inbuilt Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I was really angry but I had to buy usb Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I like the fact it has up to 6 usb port. Also I use the mini display port to hdmi converter. It’s the reason it was cheaper.


So if you need one with hdmi, inbuilt Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. A more robust one You need to hold around 160k to 250k.

I bought US used iPhone 11 Pro Max. I checked the battery % while still at the store and it was 88%.

The next 2 days I did upgrade to iOS 18.5 from 18.4.

After the update I check battery health it drops to 87%.

At this point I begin to get worried why would 1% drop just like that in less than a week. Another 2 weeks later 1% drop again.

Let me update this thread. That same week I bought a mini desktop pc. A Very tiny and small just like a decoder but yet very powerful.

I connected it to tv and placed it in console and it feels so great and you won’t believe it’s pc. Using wireless mouse and keyboard with it.

It was the best choice.

i ask how often because I am in shock a problem. I change shock like every 2 months because I live in a terrible location. New shock carry me at most 2-3 months. While told carry me for just a 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Mind you I don’t drive every day.

Once a shock is not as it use to be. I don’t enjoy driving in terrible road. The funny thing is when they check the shock they will say it’s still ok. But me that is driving it knows it’s not.

How often do you guys change shocks?

I understand some people shocks will have to be totally damaged and bad before they considering changing it. But for some very people once they noticed any slight under performance of the shocks they will consider changing it immediately.

So this question is dicy. It’s for people who can’t drive a car comfortably once the any of the shocks showing a sign of problem.

Cheaper accommodation and better environment for doing business. English or pidgin town that a non indigenous can fit in.

I like to open my sunroof when I dont want to use AC sometimes especially in the evening.
It's quite pleasing to see the sky too sometimes. Maybe a lot of Nigerians don't really use it though.

to open it will hot make car any cooler. Winding down the windows will bring it frrsh air. The sunroof is so useless in this part of the world.

Nigeria weather is not something anyone should hype panoramic view. Its now so annoying each time i hear it from TikTok dealers. My car has it but i don’t even know if that thing exist.

For years now i use a custom color. A color we forge and its unique, i enjoyed a monopoly of it for so many years as any one who sees me drive pass will know its me. but it seems to be in ruin now with consistent people who start using the exact same color.

It all started early last year or so and i was sitting inside my car one night like that eating when some group of boys passing by just stop and calling a strange name, they were so confident that i was the person they are calling I think because of that unique color, until they came close and saw my face and it was strange to me because i haven’t seen anyone using the same car with the color.


I just let it slides away. Until about a month later i saw this car same as mine and same color. I was shock for a moment. He even went ahead to paint the rim same as mine. If anyone saw that car they will believe its mine. Probably the guy just saw my car, snap it and went to do the exact color.

After that i kept seeing the car once in a while until last year when i keep start seeing more of my car color. This year it get so bad that you just start seeing it every now and then. Its like the color is now a normal color.


Its so bad now that people keep saying they saw me. My mechanic will says he say my car. And i will tell him isn’t me. Even my carwash boy told me the last time he saw me. He said and i quote “e be like say your car color done plenty oh” i swear i de mistake say na you as i de see them often now, This color done plenty now”

When we forge the color it fit the car die. The color get popular now with the car. in the city and environment people just want to use the color.

Most people will say v6 consumes fuel and because of that they need inline 4. And It’s mostly from people who haven’t used v6 before.

Most v6 engines is between 3.0L to 4L engine. The performance cannot be compare to that of 2L or 2.4L engine.

As car aged the engine get weak from time to time. But because its a powerful engine you can still get the best out from the v6 engine like using Air condition and better overall performance. Unlike 4 plug.

Here is my findings if you care to listen. If you have used small generator and big generator before you will understand the difference when you add loads.

V6 doesn’t consume fuel if you go slow with the pedal. The engine is already big and power and doesn’t need much throttle in city driving. Even if you didn’t press the throttle you will notice the car is already moving and needs little touch to pick faster. But you see small engine you will need to fire it harder before it pick which end up zapping more fuel.

When you add AC on big engine during idle. The only sound you will hear is from the fan. But with small engine it will likely vibrates which means more fuel and tear.

Climbing hill with full load on small engine. You will floor the throttle and zap more and more fuel. But with big engine you climbs it with minimal force and small fuel consumption.

If 4plug consumed 4 liters is city driving, v6 will consume 5 liters or at worst 6 litters.

Lastly. Let assume you saved 20k from fuel in a month from small engine but you end up spending 50k for one to two repair in a month. Its already counter productive and not a wise decision if you will not have to fix anything from a big engine.

Also I noticed car with little fuel consumption are costly and also their parts are costly too. Unlike big engine cars.


I still think choosing a car should be a strong car with solid suspension. One that will not take you to mechanic within 4-6 months to fix any major thing. That should be sort after rather than fuel consumption. If you live in Nigeria you should know this by now. With all the bad roads suspension is something that will take you too mechanic all the time.
