Travel / Re: What Do Nigerians Think Of Australia? by bumax: 7:03pm On Feb 06, 2010
Good day,
I am currently about to apply for a student visa to Australia.I am from Nigeria,i'll like to know what are the chances of me getting the visa what with the recent stringent visa measures being pushed by the immigration minister,

Secondly, how much exactly would you advise me to lodge in my account as proof that i can meet up with the financial requirements. Is the money to be lodged in my account or in my sponsors account.

Thirdly,i'm from an English speaking country, How important is the IELTS in the visa application, are they going to waive it for people like me, whose lingua franca is english?

Thank you.looking forward to response soon.

Being openminded, means u don't judge people based on the color of their skin, religion, creed, belief, tribe etc. There is really no barrier, except what we humans conjure in our imagination. After all we breath the same air and bleed the same red blood,we make a mockery of God's work and His essence when we reason otherwise. "ONE LOVE".
shushu i really will love 2 meet u in person,if it's fine by u,this is my mail add. bufo2001@yahoo.com wink

dinachi tanx a million 4 that incisive and revealing post,u hit the nail"smack"on the head, though some of us are already aware of OBJ & PDP's shenanigans.Aisha i understand ur stand on this issue and i believe i know were u're coming from but sometimes it pays to always look for/see the BIG PICTURE.Until EFCC & ICPC indict OBJ and his boys, their war against corruption will continue to be viewed by majority of nigerians as biased and selective and Nuhu Ribadu as a self-righteous hyprocritical pretender.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Intercontinental Bank Test: Not Well Organised, A Lady Collasped But Not Died by bumax: 8:00pm On Oct 07, 2006
How or were do i start from?Today was a complete nightmare for me only that it happened in broadday light.Intercontinental bank really let me down today with their lack-lustre and un-imaginative sense of organisation. Not that i was surprised really,'cos most companies in Nigeria are like that, but d thing that really got me was d de-humanising way we graduates were treated, like animals.
Thank God oh!that i wasn't crushed 2 death at d entrance gate.some ladies fainted and passed out.I saw with my two eyes a grown up woman sobbing like a baby.kai, see wetin this country don turn man into. But seriously though, this unfair treatment by companies operating in Nigeria must stop,Enough is Enough!aluta continua.God is in control brothers&sisters, don't give up on urself 'cos God has not given up on Nigeria.Long live Nigerian graduates!
