Suspected gunmen on Sunday bombed many places in Ringim town in
the Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa, the News Agency of
Nigeria (NAN) reports.
Witnesses told NAN the incident happened around 8.45 p.m.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the state’s Police
Command, Abdu Jinjinri, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP),
confirmed the incident to NAN in an interview in Dutse.

Mr. Jinjiri however explained that the incident had created serious
tension in the town.

NAN gathered that as at the time of filing the report the town was still
under heavy attack.
