Please if you don't like what they are doing, ignore them. They're calling on their creator the best way that they think they are. That's the fundamentals of ecumenism. Remember the story of David's wife who was laughing at him for dancing for the Lord. BE WISE |
Please for clarity sake, he's not"igwe".

I hope this news is for real. I am an advocate that it should be removed. Come on, we ought to be judged based on our intellectual prowess not allowing this dichotomy to be a barrier to productivity in the labour market. SOMETIMES the Polytechnic graduates are more productive, so why place a barrier on these hardworking persons who may due to poor finances could not get University education. Am a Polytechnic Student of Accountancy and I may not be perfect but amongst my mates in University am among the best. It's just about the ability of the individual not about HND or degree. I hope private sector follows suit most especially the banking sector.. |

iamauxin:I thought I was just the only one seeing the discrepancies in the letter and pictures. It just don't add up. Thank God someone is thinking like me. |
eyeview:I am not an Anglican but a staunch Catholic but I can't allow biased in my assessment of this issue. In all these churches that have strong tradition, all these colors have symbolic meaning. I won't start saying all the meanings of each but as for WHITE the symbolism is PURITY. Now if a lady or a man has defiled him or herself and it's known, then other colors can be used except white. For example pregnant women. Just that recently we seem to allow secularism to infiltrate the church robbing us of these core values. |
Viktor1983:FINISH HIM..... FLAWLESS VICTORY |
I don't believe in Buhari. Personally I don't like him. But one thing is that I have ultimate respect for the office of the President of Nigeria, and sadly as it maybe, he occupies that office so for now and till 2019, I have no choice than to respect him. I have to put aside my sentiments and support my president. If you go to developed countries like America, they don't abuse their president or country though they have there differences, rather they defend it.... #Proudly_a_GEJ_FAN |

***** AGITATION IN FUTILITY*****" In the spate of recent happenings in the eastern part of our country, I've been drawn to comment on the saga that's been going on there. I was watching the news and I saw crowd of people encompassing youths mainly with sticks, papers e.t.c clamouring, agitating and protesting for BIAFRA. Watching it, I was beset with two realities. 1)The economic setback of the Eastern region. In as much that we blame the government at the federal level for oymur economic setback, I want to lucidly and clearly vociferate devoid of ambiguity that our political representatives are more guilty than the FG. In the Democratic setup of our country, its organized in such a way that every ward, LGA, constituency, senatorial district, state and region is represented. These representatives are charged with ensuring that the interests of those they're representing are protected. In our own case, most of our representatives are only there to enrich themselves for there own selfish interest or desires. MOST OF US DON'T KNOW THAT FROM 1999 TO 2014, SOUTHEAST HAVE RECEIVED 17 TRILLION FEDERAL ALLOCATION, MORE THAN WHAT WAS USED TO BUILD DUBAI. The question that comes to mind is, Where is the money and what was it used for? I believe those at the echelons of our political helm will answer that. 2) NO SET OBJECTIVES: I am sure that 70% of those in that rally have no set objective. All they are clamouring for is BIAFRA and nothing more. Since this whole saga of Biafra started, I was expecting a documentary of our borders, maps, potential govt, anthem, and other national heritages. If you ask them what Biafra encapsulates, they'll include Niger Delta states who are clamouring for their own sovereignty different from Biafra struggle. Still on these note lemme quote an French philosopher that said "POWER IS NOT GIVEN BUT TAKEN". I don't think there's need to extensively elucidate that, but its imperative to note that for one to get or carve out a nation, you need an army. During the Nigeria civil war, Biafra survived those months because we had army that fought and defended her sovereignty. Sometime last two years, The then leader of BZM (Biafra Zionist Movement) Barr Ben Onwuka went to declare Biafra with 8 old men who were armed with machets. Isn't is funny? They were arrested and faces treason charges. What a pervasion of freedom struggle. When I saw the protests, I was watching to see an army that can defend Biafra from federal troops but Alas I saw only misguided youths playing with tgei deaths. A question that comes to mind is, Why is it that none if our prominent men have been associated with this supposed struggle. My answer is that they still find it childish. I won't know of yours. 3) That last one. Patriotism and realistic indepth thoughts: I was in a gathering n I asked my friends, among all the three tribes in Nigeria, who is the real Nigerian. I tell you its an Igboman. An igboman is a universal Nigerian. That is why in any part of the country, be it in the north or south, he builds his companies, factories, mansions. Whereas other tribes hardly erects a bungalow outside there region. With that being said, If we are to secede with force, who will loose more? what will happen to the wealth of our fellow Igbo's? Or do we think Nigeria will leave it for them if we secede with force? That's a critical point we need to tackle. Finally, before trying to form or secede, there should be a form of concensus to ask the people if its their wish or not. I am a strong advocate of the LAND OF THE RISING SUN. I BELIEVE IN THE FACT THAT THERE WAS A COUNTRY. I BELIEVE IN BIAFRA. BUT I THINK WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER AND TRASH OUT SOME ISSUES BEFORE WE DECIDE ON THE WAY FORWARD TO AVERT SOMETHING WORSE THAN THE GENOCIDE OF 1967-1970. Have a blessed day...... |

Greatest Nigerian students...... Greatest I can never be intimidated Nigerian Students...... Greatest gboo Gboo........ My fellow Nigerian students, i have looked at this strike from day one, observed, studied and analysed it. I have come to conclusion that we ought to sue ASUU/Asup and FG to court. We paid our school fees and its our right to be taught, so its either they refund us our school fees or they pay us for not teaching. Since we paid, its our right to be taught cause its a contract. |
