Furthermore it has make traveling by road from the southern states like Delta state to any part of northern states a very dangerous risk. Nonsense, a coward dies a thousand times. Wickedtruths: Nigeria's current Minister of State for Defence has very interesting educational qualifications.
His highest educational qualification is a WAEC School Certificate. In this exam, he failed Mathematics and English language. He even barely passed Practical Agric. The basic subject for farmers.
Now, looking at the basic requirements for joining any of Nigeria's armed forces as a Driver or Cook (Tradesman), pass in English and Mathematics are required. Mattawalle doesn't have this.
The question now is that someone who lacks the basic qualifications to be a driver or cook in the Army, Navy or Airforce, how is he a Minister controlling Generals? How? The Alhaji is a disaster, without a shadow of a doubt President Tinubu got that decision wrong. |

It's absurd that a particular religion from some regions will decide to have another seperate law apart from the general secular law. The question I dey ask, how does sharia law affect us in Lagos or Delta state? |

adicius: North and south Nigeria can no longer live in harmony and it's clear to see. It's time we all have a referendum to split Nigeria into 5 or 6 countries. We would agree to share the oil revenue for the next 15 years as we have been together for 60 plus years. The 15 years will allow the individual countries to build the necessary infrastructure etc, it needs to survive. Also the south south will get the lion share of the oil revenue, but after the 15 years elapse, no more oil sharing . Each country should finally now rely on their national resources and human capital etc. This will foster competition and development and it's the way to go as no one will feel left out or marginalised. God bless.
. Please gerrout, only failures in The Federal Republic of Nigeria will imagine this kind nonsense. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Presidency Run From ‘Outside’, Tinubu Caged In Aso Rock – Senator Yari by Burob: 8:22pm On Dec 03, 2025 |
jessicahanlo: This Yari statement is loud, but honestly it raises more questions than answers.
If a sitting senator is openly saying the Presidency is being run from outside and we already have the President caged there, then Nigerians deserve clarity. You can’t drop that kind of bomb and then pretend it’s casual gist. If there are forces outside the Villa influencing national decisions, who are they? Politicians? Business interests? Foreign actors? Power brokers? Nigerians need transparency, not riddles.
At the same time, Yari is right on one point: Trump or any foreign leader cannot fix Nigeria. No outsider will come and do the nation-building we avoid doing ourselves. But if the “elite,” as he called them, are the ones hijacking institutions, then how exactly are ordinary Nigerians supposed to “solve the problem”? The same people causing the issues cannot be the ones presenting themselves as the solution.
What I find interesting is the contradiction: He says Tinubu is being abused unfairly, yet also admits the President is “caged” and operations are done by others. If that's true, then the public criticism is actually misdirected the real question becomes: Who is running Nigeria?
This kind of comment should spark a national conversation, not just trend for 48 hours and vanish. If Yari truly cares about the One Nigeria Project, he should back his words with specifics, not political poetry.
Nigerians deserve clarity. Nigerians deserve accountability. And Nigerians deserve a presidency that is run from the Villa not from shadows.
What do you all think? Is Yari speaking truth, playing politics, or simply trying to position himself for something bigger? Ok a bitter Senator from Zamfara state made a statement? All you’ll enemies of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we can see your hypocrisy & crocodile tears. |

SixSeven: A US sanction affects countries that trade with US. I edited my comment for you. You need to have a good understanding of
1. Intentational financial system 2. International politics
The countries and companies in those countries that do business with that individual are trying the US if they do business with them so even if they run to Saudi, as long as they are still doing business with US, it's not an escape. I urge you to study Cuba and you'll understand how US sanctions work on not just countries alone. There are Cubans who have japa'ed and can make their country better but US sanctions are affecting them. When there was covid, the US policy on Cuba could not let them do certain work. Study international politics and financial system to understand this. I leave you with an AI summary
You have the internet, use these things. I can't waste so much time trying to educate on an issue we have seen happen over and over again. When there were sanctions against Abrahamovich, even his assets in Canada were affected, it wasn't just the UK. Read and you can know more. Please stop yapping nonsense. |
