For the period his trial lasted, he was rambunctious, unremorseful and daring.

He maintained a recalcitrant stance in the face of very glaring and weighty facts and evidences against him.

He sacked his defense counsels and insulted the trial judge to high heavens.

Any keen observer knew that he was already nailing his own coffin.

All those working behind the scenes to see to a political settlement of the case became disappointed and therefore decided to let him carry his cross all by himself.

Even the prospect of invading the Correctional Centre where he was to serve his jail time was preemptively moved to faraway Sokoto beyond the reach of his ESN.

Instead of applying discretion, he chose unmindful bravado.

Even now, the FGN may wish to grant him a presidential pardon but must be conditional and with an obvious sign of remorse.

MNK's pigheadedness got him to his present predicament.

Cowards ussualy propose a future date to start a fight (knowing it will never happen), why wait till future date before you "settle the score directly between YORUBA and IBOs". All this chest beating will not help you.
