This is the kind of hearing and actions that you will never see or hear of in the British Parliament. Never! The British have dedicated their whole life and national pursuits to the shedding of blood of different indigenous peoples around the world, just to get their filthy hands on the resources of others. A nation of proud bandits. That was the reason why they organised, planned and funded the Biafran genocide and have shown no remorse ever since. Trump is fresh air..

I hope that this great move by the Trump presidency will contineu until freedom spreads to all nooks and crannies of this convulsing amalgam called Nigeria. And I also hope that this will form the basis for the release of people like Simon Ekpa! He was fighting a good cause. Fulani irredentists were on a killing spree in Nigeria all through buharis regime and have started off from where they stopped under this "Muslim-Muslim" regime of Mr Bulaabaa and his Boko haram protege..

BondRiv:
• The Assembly members asked Fubara to send a list of Commissioners-Designate but he refused.

• Fubara instructed the criminal heading RSIEC and other staff not to honour the invitation of the Assembly. Having not accounted for the unappropriated funds they squandered on a sham election, these criminals can't wait to repeat it again.

• The Assembly sent a letter stipulating a time frame for Fubara to present the budget, but he instructed his staff to reject any correspondence from the Assembly.

• After demolishing the Assembly building due to the fear of impeachment, what is the state of the building now? It is easy to destroy.

• This same lawless element illegally withheld the funds of the legislators.

• On the 10th of March, the clueless element who instructed his staff not to receive correspondence from the Assembly, had the audacity to claim he was trying to send correspondence to them. Without any acknowledgement of the said letter, no copies of the so-called budget was in the possession of the lawmakers, the clown showed up claiming he wanted to present the budget.

The Supreme Court did the right thing by stopping the federal allocation to Rivers State until the governor presents the budget. Rightly declaring that there is a no government in Rivers State.

The Commissioner of Police in Rivers State should be removed, if he can't get the criminals who had disobeyed the summons of the Assembly arrested. Our laws must be obeyed in this country, else anarchy will reign.

Only clueless fools believe a man who demolished the Assembly building of Rivers State is a saint.

Fubara is a despot - The Supreme Court of Nigeria

A joke taken too far - The Court of Appeal

A tyrant - The Federal High Court
Yet we have things like enemyofpeace supporting the clueless tyrant.
Politics › Re: Nyesom Wike Using Amaewhule To Destabilize Rivers State—but Their Plot Failed by Burob: 2:15am On Mar 14, 2025
Enemyofpeace:
NYESOM WIKE USING AMAEWHULE TO DESTABILIZE RIVERS STATE—BUT THEIR PLOT FAILED

13th March 2025

On October 30, 2023, an attempted impeachment coup against Governor Siminalayi Fubara was orchestrated by the Martin Amaewhule-led Assembly, allegedly masterminded by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. However, their plot failed as the good people of Rivers State rose in defiance, rejecting and resisting this undemocratic attack on their amiable and accountable Governor.

A Desperate Power Struggle

After two years of intense political battles between Governor Fubara and Nyesom Wike, it became clear that Fubara had politically outmaneuvered and relegated Wike. In a last-ditch effort to regain control, Wike manipulated the Supreme Court judgment, which set aside Oko Jumbo as Speaker and controversially reinstated the Martin Amaewhule-led Assembly, despite the Nigerian Constitution clearly stating that Amaewhule and his 26 colleagues automatically lost their Assembly seats when they defected from the PDP to the APC.

Despite this judicial ambush, Governor Fubara honored the Supreme Court ruling, implementing it immediately after receiving the Certified True Copy (CTC), demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the rule of law.

Desperate Attempts to Cling to Power

Having lost yet another battle, Wike and his allies tried a new strategy, issuing a 48-hour ultimatum to the Governor, demanding that he re-present the state budget. However, when they witnessed the overwhelming public backlash, they resorted to further destabilization tactics, attacking key arms of government.

One of their latest sinister plots is the false accusation of age falsification against Justice Simeon Amadi, the Rivers State Chief Judge. His actual offense? Rejecting a ₦5 billion bribe to facilitate the illegal impeachment of Governor Fubara.

In another desperate attempt to manipulate the local government structure and disrupt the upcoming LGA elections, Wike and his cohorts have allegedly orchestrated an arrest warrant for Justice Enebeli and other members of RISIEC, a clear move to cripple the judiciary and suppress democratic processes in Rivers State.

Why Is Wike Doing This?

The answer is simple: to deceive President Bola Ahmed Tinubu into believing he still controls Rivers State. But the truth is evident, Wike has lost his political stronghold and is now subjecting Rivers people to hardship, starvation, and frustration in a desperate attempt to stay relevant.

A Message to Wike

Nyesom Wike, drop your sword and wait for 2027. By then, the minority Ijaws will show you what it truly means to be a minority in Rivers State politics. Thereafter, we will see who truly holds the majority in a state where the Ijaws control 13 LGAs out of 23.

A Message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

"BABA TINUBU, WIKE IS NOT IN CHARGE OF RIVERS STATE, HE HAS LONG LOST HIS RELEVANCE IN RIVERS POLITICS!"

False. The governor refused the presidential mediation. He went ahead to demolish the HoA complex. Declared the duly elected lawmakers seats vacant due to a spurious defection... He's a traitor. He needs to be a leader whatever that takes.

Ironfaceman:
rolled out in 18% of the African countries it had planned for launch in 2024.

While it doubled its African footprint from seven to 14 countries, it pushed back estimated launch dates in 24 countries.

In South Africa, Starlink’s estimated launch date has been “unknown” since late 2022 due to the country’s stringent telecoms ownership rules.

The map below shows the status of Starlink availability around the world. Grey is used to show countries where Starlink does not plan to offer its services.

Starlink’s issue with South African laws
Unlike many other international companies operating locally, Starlink wants to deal directly with customers for its residential service and not partner with local Internet service providers (ISPs).

However, the Electronic Communications Act requires that telecoms licensees be 30% owned by historically disadvantaged groups (HDGs), including black people, youth, women, and people with disabilities.

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) has also approved a rule that would require licensees to be 30% black-owned.

Although Icasa has put the implementation of this particular requirement on hold, it could come into effect at a moment’s notice and is like a sword hanging over the telecoms industry.

In late 2024, it seemed as though some progress was being made towards getting Starlink over the regulatory line in South Africa.

Communications minister Solly Malatsi said he would call on the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) to develop equity equivalents that would make it easier for international companies to operate locally.

President Cyril Ramaphosa also met with SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk on the sidelines of a United Nations meeting in New York last year to discuss potential investments in the country.

However, the recent diplomatic tension between the United States and South African governments has likely hurt any realistic prospects of Starlink launching in the near future.
