DeLaRue: What I don't understand is why Nigeria can't procure a long range reconisance drones or heat seeking jet that can identify the locations of massed terrorists.
I know these military grade equipment are not easy to buy since countries that manufacture them often restrict their sale, but that is not an excuse.
I am sure South African defense companies will produce drones that can do 300 km round trips if they have a contract.
Also, why can't Nigerian university scientists do any practical thing to help in the production of long range drones
Nigeria's matter is tiring. Truly it beats the imagination with all the money they have budgeted for defense. There is something fundamentally wrong with Nigerians. |

Clobisman: He then alleged that government agencies frequently engage in similar practices without judicial approval This was how they tapped peter obi's phone conversation during the last elections and started mocking him for calling bishop oyedepo. Tinubu has gotten away with so much impunity that he has been committing. Anyway elrufai helped made him who he is today so they all should know where they hung there clothes before bathing together. Macphenson It was candidate Tinubu that tapped Gringory Obi’s yes daddy phone call abi? A Failure must always find someone else, or something, to blame for being a Failure. |

Radicalwarrior: Calling someone an “empty barrel” doesn’t change facts. Peter Obi has moved across parties based on political strategy and ideology shifts, which is common in Nigerian politics. What matters is his track record, consistency on governance issues, and policy positions — not just party labels. Political alignment can change; character and competence are what voters should focus on.
Parties Bola Tinubu Has Joined
Social Democratic Party (SDP)
Action Congress (AC)
Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN)
All Progressives Congress (APC)
Tinubu was also politically aligned with the pro-democracy bloc that later became the Alliance for Democracy in the Fourth Republic.
Party evolution and mergers are part of Nigeria’s political history. The APC itself was formed from mergers of ACN, CPC, ANPP, and factions of APGA and PDP. So switching or merging parties isn’t unusual — it’s strategic politics. Just shows how politically ignorant u are. |

Politics › Re: Obidient Movement Warns APC Against Alleged 2027 Election Manipulation by Burob: 6:02pm On Feb 13 |
1nice: The Obidient Movement, a political support group backing former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, has issued a strong warning to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the 2027 presidential election.
In a statement released on Thursday, Obidient movement cautioned the APC against any attempt to manipulate or rig the 2027 general elections, stressing that such actions would attract “serious consequences” from Nigerian voters.
The group reiterated its position that the mandate of Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election was “stolen,” maintaining that the will of the people must be respected in future electoral processes. According to the statement, the movement remains committed to ensuring that electoral integrity is upheld and that every vote counts in 2027.
“We are putting the APC and its leadership on notice that Nigerians will not tolerate any form of electoral malpractice in 2027. The democratic rights of citizens must be protected,” the statement read.
The Obidient Movement further called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and civil society organizations to strengthen safeguards that would guarantee transparency, fairness, and credibility in the upcoming elections.
Political analysts note that early rhetoric ahead of the 2027 polls signals the likelihood of heightened political activities and tensions as parties begin strategic positioning. The APC has yet to formally respond to the remarks.
As Nigeria moves closer to another election cycle, observers emphasize the importance of peaceful political engagement and adherence to democratic principles to maintain national stability.
