AMINDA: You wish. We have video evidence of Tinubu begging Elrufai to work with him in public, do you have any evidence of Elrufai asking to be part of Tinubu’s government? Elrufai was already minister of the FCT under Obasanjo twenty years ago and his records are still yet to be surpassed. Tinubu cannot work with the likes of Elrufai due to low self-esteem issues. We now know Tinubu prefers to be the smartest person in the room and Elrufai will never sing the mandate song to extol a mere mortal. Unless ignorance or self deceit, the logical & reasonable minded are quite aware that El Rufai’s issue with Tinubu stems from the fact that he was rejected & not cleared to be a Minister based on security reports which he stated publicly that Tinubu did not do enough to back him. |

Politics › Re: We’ll Accept If Tinubu Wins 2027 Election Based On Real-time Transmission - Obi by Burob: 10:35am On Feb 10 |
hotseat: And the conspiracy theory thickens!
First and foremost, there's a distinction between electronic transmission of votes and results and "real-time" electronic transmission of votes and election results.
Votes would have to be first cast, collated, counted and entered into the form EC8A with the signatures of party agents captured manually before they can be transmitted electronically.
This processes take time to complete and they would render the notion of "real-time" meaningless in the real sense of the word.
Therefore what the Senate is trying to avoid is the phrase "real-time" to prevent litigations.
The Senate didn't remove the electronic transmission method but simply removed "real-time".
By the time the Senate meets today, Tuesday, 10th February, 2026, this brouhaha would be laid to rest to the satisfaction of all.
@hotseat Hotseat has done again, Mr Logical Thinker. |

I'm not here to justify anybody's greed, but what is Tinubu showing as good example to Nigerians as their leader?

What good example is he showing the governors, the institutions, the children going to school and Nigerians in general?

Wealthyonos: Pele, Tinubu has happened to you Quite obvious you commented hurriedly based on the headline? Please go back & read the article to save yourself from further embarrassment. Readership NG reports that First HoldCo reported a profit before tax of N229.097 billion in 2025, down 71.18 percent from N796.461 billion in 2024. The sharp earnings decline came despite gross earnings rising to N3.4 trillion, net interest income surging by 36.3 percent to N1.9 trillion, and fees and commission income growing by 18.7 percent to N290.7 billion, largely driven by digital banking and electronic transaction fees. Defending the results, First HoldCo Chairman, Mr Femi Otedola, said the profit slump was the consequence of a deliberate balance sheet cleanup rather than weak operating performance. In a statement shared on his official X page, Otedola described the N748 billion write off as a necessary and painful decision. |

Guess what, Nigerian leaders and people have refused to get their acts right to gain some global respect. That's why Nigeria needs a leader like me to format people's brains! Power is never given it is taken, go & grab it, & snatch it if you have the wisdom & might, instead of deceiving self on social media. Talk is cheap, & will forever remain cheap. |
