No dear, I don't think that's the case. So far, as we can see, nobody has heard from them since they commenced the second batch of tests. I think they want to round up with tests before calling anyone further. I know a few people from d second test batch and so far no one from there including myself have been called.

Has anyone who wrote the assessment test in the second batch last Wednesday received an interview invite? Just wondering why they are quite slow with the second batch. People from d first batch started getting interview invites from the next day after their test.

Hey guys, for those trying to reach Mariam, just call EY Lagos office number. A lady will pick up. Introduce urself, ask you want to speak to Mariam to she will connect you to her. The number is on their website. Don't call between 1:30 to 2:30. It's their break time. Sometimes, d receptionist lady can be stubborn sha...lol. Also, tell her why u wanna speak to.her. The receptionist might ask you to send her an e-mail but let her know u have done so and she will probably connect you. I called about four times before I was connected to Mariam.

Oga, go for this test oo. From all indication especially the few times I spoke with Mariam, this new test invite wasn't even a certainty but thank God it finally happened. So just go. My own advice and opinion

Hello peeps. To all those who weren't able to attend the test last Wednesday, I hope u have all gotten ur new test invites. Mariam told me they should be sent out by today. I have gotten mine sha. I sure that woman don tire for me. Have called her like ten times within the last few days. Lol. Anyways, the calls and continuous asking about the new date don pay off.

Hello, i think who you should be calling is EY not dragnet. Dragnet is only doing what they are told. Well, I cannot make the test so i rejected my invitation and sent Mariam a detailed e-mail about why I cant come. Im sure they will probably fix another date, maybe early next month. I have an ACCA computer based exam that same day in Abuja which has been paid for. Well, I hope to hear back from Mariam soon. If not, I will call again by Friday.

Success mail at last but nawa for this date o. It is clashing with another exam that has been long booked and paid for. Hope I can reschedule. I'm sure EY should have made provision for those who wont be able to attend for good reason. What is the meaning of 5 sections. I just hope current affairs isn't there..Christ...

Did you finish the test before the time elapsed?

I was on the 25th question when the time elapsed and started to read in negative. I made a random selection on that question though before the time ran out.

With all these retakes of test and all sorted out, hopefully we can start getting results by Monday. This waiting is killing.....
Also, we need some action on this thread. Definitely, the test results will bring life back....I will just try not to check my mail and this thread for thr next 5 days

Oh, you were? What issues did you have with your numerical? I dont know if I would call what happened with mine an issue but my timer read in negative after the timer went off. I guess that was normal. I sent an e-mail to Mariam just incase that was an issue and to ensure that my test actually submitted.

I don't think there's going to be a numerical retake. So far, there were no problems with it except peoples timers reading in negative which happened in my second verbal test so i have figured out that that is just the timer going off. Results pls do and come..

Omo mehn. Not like this second verbal was bad oo but it was way more difficult and time consuming compared to the first test. Abeg, they should just take my numerical test with all the issues i had like that, biko. I don't want to re-do that one for sure. Fingers crossed.

Abeg, my people, who else experienced this oo. The test was ok but i had gotten to question 25 and had about 6 seconds left. I ran out of time before I could answer the question but instead of the thing signing out and going to log out page or something, the timer started reading in negative , as in reverse order. At first is was - 0:03. I refreshed the page like three minutes after, it read -4:09 and the last question was still right there on my screen. It didn't go off. I even had time to properly calculate and pick a different answer and then i clicked finish. I dont know but this time around, I didnt get the "you have successfully finished this section" message.

The only thing this EY don bring me for the last three days na headache.

These people are sending numerical links and are yet to address the issue with the verbal.. like WTH...So is it that the process continues without any intervention. The least I would expect is an e-mail talking about the issue and the further actions to be taken instead along side the numerical link. Or maybe they will just lower the cut off mark or use just numerical test for assessment or something cause I am really not sure....

I also got the congratulations msg ,though I never skipped any question and was able to answer all questions before the time elapsed. The only problem I experienced was, my internet connection hanged when I was about to submit with 1min 53seconds to go,but I later submitted with just 45 seconds to go

I am sorry, i am a bit confused. Do you mean you got a congratulatory e-mail from EY or you got some message after you clicked the "submit" and "close" buttons after the end of the 25 questions. I think we need to clarify this so that some people don't misunderstand and think you mean a congratulatory e-mail from EY after completing verbal test.

Well, if you mean the latter, I saw a message like you have successfully finished this section (something like that. cant quite remember) after i finished my test. Even though i did all 25 questions without instructions. Na some spiritual thingz ooo.

what u just did is unethical. You shouldn't have put her email out here in the forum. next time send it to the person's email or number.

Mariam's mail was already in the e-mail for the test link. Incase of any issue with the test, we are asked to mail her.

My own issue is also similar, on getting to nos 4 it refused going to the next question the screen started moving up and down and finally logged off....I feel disturbed cos I saw it as a big opportunity. ..it will be unfair if we re nt at least given a chance to fail or pass at least just 2 min into my time

I hope this issue is addressed and resolved quickly

Hey people, abeg quick question. I noticed that on each test question page, the space beneath the question was blank. Isnt that where the instruction is suppose to be? Just saying cause I went through the test not reading any instructions at all except the before the start of the test. So I didnt know what questions where antonyms, synonyms and all..

This test go easy for people like Patrick Obahiaghon ooo....

People chill. The e-mails will come. So far, from what I see, no one has gotten them. Well, hope it wont now be a case of they send e-mail later on expecting test to be done that same day or some surprising ish like that. Thanks to everyone who has supplied materials. Even though I had a hunch about the SHL format, I didn't have any prep materials. Thanks people.

Just general info that I think might help. I think the test would be SHL style. Why? Since E&Y seem to be changing their method of testing, it may be that they want to comply with the style of testing with the rest of the E&Y body globally. Did some research into E&Y recruitment style. Their graduate aptitude tests are usually administered online through saville consulting which is basically SHL style kind test. Since this is the first time, E&Y Nigeria will be administering the test online, I'm guessing this is what is up cause normally it would have been paper based GMAT ish. Its just like PwC and Shell too. Its online everywhere regardless of what country and they both do SHL style kinda test.

Just my thought, i might be wrong but im going the SHL route for preparation... Baba God help us ooo

Number of questions, type (verbal, quantitative, diagrammatic or abstract), distribution of questions types (more verbal, more quantitative, etc..)
Also, it is SHL or GMAT format or both?
