Chai our youths have gone to the gutters.

They no longer read and even when they do, instead of them to ask question and get clarifications in areas they don't understand, they start running around with false narratives and assumptions.

They don't even know what it means to "close a case" by the prosecution.

See them above me jumping like nàkèd monkies shouting that the government has failed. Efcc has failed and is useless. Etc.

Just read the rubbish some zombies above me are spewing.. Elumelu clearly said that "2016 was Nigeria worst economy ever".. Was 2016 not among your god, Bubu's administration?..
Elumelu is even stupid. How does collecting massive loans used for "huge but unsee-able projects and infrastructures" steer Nigeria towards the right direction? Nigerian Naira exchange rate was around N160 per dollar during GEJ's era.. It currently above N365 per dollar. How is that an improvement in this wretched economy? It's either Elumelu is vainly stupid or his wealth is affecting him from giving the right judgement. (spits)

IT TAKES A MAN WHO KNOWS HOW DEEP THE AXE FELL TO APPRECIATE THE MIRACLE OF RETRIEVING IT. They almost ruined the entire nation beyond repair but thank God for Buhari. I remember there was a time they said he won't be able to sustain the dollar bail out but without certificate, as they claim, he has sustain everything he started. How many men can keep their house should there income suddenly fall by 60% ? that was what happened to Nigeria as oil price dropped from about $100 to below $40 per barrel yet Buhari and his team, with the help from above were able to keep the country. SAI BABA

It actually dropped from $130 pb (which was the highest ever) this was under GEJ to $27 pb (which was the lowest ever) this was under PMB yet he was able to keep the nation afloat while still paying off debts, paying contractors owed, driving infrastructure, still gave bail outs to 30 States which GEJ bankrupted and never borrowed to pay salaries

No jobs from Asaba to Ughelli, down to Warri and Sapele, no job at all.

Business / Worst Days Over For Nigerias Economy, Says Tony Elumelu by Butterflyleo: 12:40pm On Oct 24, 2018

The founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), Mr. Tony Elumelu, yesterday said Nigeria’s economy is headed in the right direction, describing 2016 as a terrible year for the economy.

Elumelu, who said this in an interview monitored on CNN yesterday, also disclosed that his Group would in the next few weeks, close a $2.5 billion oil asset acquisition deal in the country.

According to him, “things are changing in Nigeria and it appears our economic managers have finally gotten a strong grip on the economy.”

The Chairman of the United Bank for Africa Plc, however, pointed out that there was still room for improvement, stressing that as an investor in several sectors in the Nigerian economy, “I see improvement and I am optimistic about the future.”

“Oil prices going up is good and encouraging. Our group is in the process of closing a $2.5 billion oil asset acquisition in the country. We are doing this as a demonstration of confidence in the economy. If the economy was not good or improving, we would not be contemplating that

“The truth is that in 2016, we had a bit of challenge with capital control, but in 2018, we don’t have such any more. Access to dollar is now easy. I speak as someone who invests significantly in Nigeria.

“Raising $2.5 billion for investment would not come through if the foreign investors were scared about capital control,” he explained.

According to Elumelu who is also the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, a lot of investors outside the country don’t have enough information about Nigeria.

He stressed the need for policymakers to continue to take steps towards improving Ease of Doing business in the country so as to attract more capital inflow.

“I am a long-term investor, i was born in Africa and I made my money in Africa and i am happy to invest in Nigeria and other African countries.

“Today we have investments in 23 African countries. Ultimately, we keep making investments because it helps in creating wealth,” he added.

When asked about the sectors he is excited about, Elumelu said: “I am excited about oil and gas and I am excited in banking, most importantly, power. Power is important for me because Nigeria and Africa needs power to develop.

“Our group is the largest generator of electricity in Nigeria. But we can do more. We just need the debt we are owed in that sector. So, If I was to complain, I would complain about the debts owed us as power operator.

“In other sectors, I think things are improving. I think the CBN particularly has gotten the grip on the economy and a lot of windows and markets have been created for investors who want to bring in money into Nigeria and those who want to take out money from the country.

We should keep encouraging investors because we need massive investments in Nigeria to develop, to help create employment for our young ones and to help us alleviate poverty,” he added.

Bros see eh as a patriotic Nigerian from the Igbo ethnic group, to argue with you or dispute what you said will be futility but me and you was born and brought up in the very country, you must have heard about the Nigeria, biafra civil war right from childhood, you must have heard that last IGBo has been president haso been president it's long time ago considering been among the three major tribes in Nigeria. Bro i want to be realistic with you. What is wrong having an IGBO Vice president of Nigeria .. You see in as much no tribe or persons are perfect, let's always think about our life and how to progress together instead of division. You see if ever an igbo becomes the vp or president of Nigeria it will be God's will not human. Because the hatred we have been shown in this country even us inclusive is in God's hands . Pax

You seem to have forgotten that PMB has chosen an Igbo to be his VP twice when he ran for president. I believe he chose Chuba Okadigbo and Evans Ewerem on two separate occasions yet you all still claim marginalization.

When there was a drive for an Igbo presidency via Alex Ekwueme it was this same Atiku who betrayed him and ensured he was not given the ticket to run for Presidency under PDP.

PDP for 16 years never at any time gave the SE any chance for presidency or VP.

Now you think its the whole of Nigeria that has marginalized you when your blind support for PDP has been marginalizing you even as you also marginalized yourselves by your own individual greed and selfishness.

PMB has given you opportunities twice but PDP never did and now in order to manipulate you for votes, they are giving you a VP position despite knowing they would still lose.

Use your head.

And before I forget, the civil war was simply an issue of sovereignty and has nothing to do with marginalization.

You have spoken well leo but how long will Nigeria last with the present structure? From my perspective, I don't think Nigeria can last another 20 years with this present structure. Something will give and that is very soon.

#istandwithbuharitill2023

Changing the current structure isn't for the now. Nigeria has to get to a place of strength before this can happen.

With the way the nation has been bastardized over the years before PMB came, restructuring would mean suicide for Nigeria at this point.

The only thing PDP is doing now is simply playing on the emotions of people.

GEJ wanted to implement restructuring and was voted out despite that. Now ask yourself how come he still got voted out? grin

Give majority of the people the right reasons why they think you will not favour them and you get booted out.

Atiku will be the next casualty

Keep consoling yourself.

It is because you want Buhari to continue on power and thereafter hand over to SW that is why you blindly support a man who has impoverished this nation and shed innocent blood of middle beltans and easterners.

But know ye, that this table you people are standing and allowing Nigerians die out of poverty and insecurity just for your own selfish interests will come back to haunt you.

Restructuring is very possible.
GEJ took bold steps in convening a national conference and obtaining contributions from every tribe delegate and professionals.

It was a PDP government who initiated it.

It will be a PDP government who will implement it.

Wait until campaigns start in November.

Afenifere leaders have already stated they'll support whoever is agitating for restructuring in case you're still living in denial that no South westerners will support Atiku.

Oodua ba wo? You are clearly being scammed and have fallen head over heals for the fake restructuring narrative.

See you even claiming that when the senate becomes PDP dominated they will tow the line of restructuring grin

Its clear you have no idea what restructuring entails. You think any political region would want to devalue themselves and risk being impoverished by the time they disconnect from each other?

Ore wake up and stop sipping codeine.

1) Atiku cannot restructure

2) the over 500 ethnicities of Nigeria will not permit it

3) our constitution does not recognize it

The moment you are able to get this into your head, then the scam Atiku is selling you, will clear from your eyes

World Bank president Jim Yong Kim.

Oyetunji Abioye, Washington DC

The President of the World Bank Group, Jim Yong Kim, said on Thursday that the bank had concentrated on the northern region of Nigeria in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s request.

Kim and the Managing Director, International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, who spoke at separate press conferences in Washington DC, United States, also advised Buhari to invest in things that would enhance economic growth.
Kim said, “You know, in my very first meeting with President Buhari he said specifically that he would like us to shift our focus to the northern region of Nigeria and we’ve done that. Now, it has been very difficult. The work there has been very difficult.

You talked about qualifications.... Academic qualification...
Atiku is more qualified... Buhari is yet to present any certificates

Talking about Atiku being a thief... Well you are not a law court... And it's only a court of law that has the right to declare someone a thief..
Atiku has never been called a thief or found wanting by any court both within and outside the country... So desist from hearsay.

This election must be issue based..

Atiku made it clear that he will not take six months to appoint his cabinet.. He do so after swearing in.. This is a man prepared for governance..

So I now need a law court to determine who a thief is even when I have my common sense with me?

Let me throw a quick question at you.

If you have a staff in your office and you discover he has been stealing from the Finances and he denies it and then decides to sue you to court for defamation because his uncle or father is a chief judge or highly placed and because of this, he knows he would get away with it.

If the judge rules him innocent , TO YOU does it remove the fact that you are sure he stole from you and is a thief?

These attached images buttress my point
