Datz why oau is preferred as best in testn whether u r u really did ur jamb ursef or nt.ur 4jamb subjcts wil b given,all 100 questns 25each bt it may vary sum subjcts may nt b up to 25 stil they av their scheme of markn it.u r chance 4dat ur cource is great,aim like 260 its merit list 4u.mind u oau does negativ markn oo,so try nd prepare hard so that their markn scheme doesnt dissappoint u.success ijn

I believe this year's cut-off mark is gonna be lower than that of last year but notwithstanding you need to do very well in the post-ume which might come up next month.

Pls i disagree,jamb programs diffrnt markn scheme 4candidates nd dnt jst knw why. mayb cuz of malpractice,if jamb discovers there is malpractice in a centre tends to affect d candidates all in d centre by markn them down

chiwuike20: I tend to agree wit u to a certain degree, but I think Jamb don't fail people, they apply d method of nagative marking due to d level of competition @ hand. This also affects those who score above 300. If they use simplified marking method, and someone who scored 160 was able to score 200, then those who scored 300 will score 340, still making a chasm wider. Moreover, those who scored 130, who'll score 170 if d simplified method is introduced, will inevitably fill d dissatisfied position to cry foul play.

Olamyyde: I didn't want to comment on this thread but i was forced to cos' of the posts I've been seeing, i wrote jamb last yr and scored 223 at d age of 14, passed pume but wasn't offered admission to unaab cos i chose it as 2nd choice. This yr i scored 230. believe me i read lyk madt. i read so much that i can't recall a night i slept b4 1:30am, i started taking lipton in febuary risking my growth just so i could read. i quit 2go jan 15 until i finished physics scheme of work.

maths-62
english-56(maybe becos of d literature)
chemistry-45(wen i saw this i knew jamb was playing a trick, how can somebody be good in maths and phys but suck in chem? i dropped my ababio for chemistry and started reading lamlad chemistry(40% Olevel, 60% Alevel), den a f*ckin computa tells me i got 45, god dammit it ain't cool)
