Apostle Johnson Suleman speaks out after gunmen attacked his convoy killing 7, including 3 policemen in Auchi, Edo State.

According to the cleric, the issue started back in 2017 and culminated in his assasination attempt yesterday and that he wont mention names now.

It was gathered that Suleman returned from a foreign trip and was heading to a destination in Edo State when the gunmen attacked his convoy around the Auchi area of the state.

During the attack, the gunmen reportedly opened fire on his convoy, allegedly killing three of his police orderlies and four other yet-to-be-identified persons.

Suleman’s lawyer, Samuel Amune, who confirmed the attack to our correspondent, said the cleric just returned from a programme in Tanzania, adding that he escaped death by a whisker.

When contacted, the Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, said, “I just heard about it few seconds ago; but I cannot confirm yet. Let me hear from the Divisional Police Officer covering that area.”
