I went 4 my ANC appt yesterday evening n my doc wanted 2 sweep my membrane 2 get labour started 4me,aftr insertin his finger he said my Os is still closed at 40wks+2days,dat if I dnt fall into labor b4 my next appt he's gonna induce me...who don xperience dis b4 n fall into labor b4 a week? Pls mamas help me out o! Thanx in advance...sorry 4d long epistle.

My second baby chilled for 40 weeks,13 days and of course he was my easiest delivery, I never knew I was in labour because his labour pattern was different, before I got to hospital he was almost threatening to burst out. One big non stop push and he is right there in their hands. Just follow the doctor's instructions, my doc never mentioned induction, he was more interested in laughing and telling me to relax that when the baby is ready, he will come.

I use tiny towel, I don't know the age of ur daughter. If under 1yrs, use tiny towel and warm water. If over,add a pinch of paste to the tiny towel, reserve a towel for this. The roughness of a towel scraps the residue on kids tongues very well.


Make it a daily routine. From giving first bath, I clean out the tongue.

Wow. its been a while. Been silently following. Congrats to all d new mamas. July mamas, what seemed so faraway is alreadybhere! l can't wait to see my LO and close shop for good in shaa Allah .

I also had a VBAC, contrary to what I read in an earlier post, I had a really prolonged Labour because induction was not an option. It took about 20 hours and manual expansion of the cervix (horrible and uncomfortable)to get me fully dilated. Now I'm hoping this one will be different, but my doc is still suggesting we don't induce labour . Anyways its d safe delivery that's important at this moment. Pray all goes well.

@byvan03 your thread is amaze-balls, beautiful outfits and corsets. I've gotten mine a while back tho, we mamas must not slack . The kiddies outfits r just wow!
