The easiest way to have peace is to maintain your lane . Even if you have issues , involving them doesn't ever solve it . Call to know how his parents are every now and then.

We asked no questions ,i still don't know the questions we could have asked that would have made any difference . We have no issues stemming from lack of asked questions. So as far as am concerned, asking question from now till tomorrow changes nothing when your heart is set . I don't know how it works these days ,if asking questions helps,by all means ask .
