Yes it's better to get a prepaid meter, although they would still apply your outstanding bill to it if you haven't paid, but after that you can easily recharge your prepaid meter with any amount you like.

Would have made more sense if your barn was mobile, because then you wouldn't be limited only to people living around that area. I hope you find someone.
