Ademidecare: I didn’t do interview cus I applied for family reunion which is also long stay visa D. It’s been 10weeks since I applied and it’s not showing on the website. We were told it will take 10/11 weeks before it starts showing on the site. Processing time starts counting from the day you submitted at TLS. Thank you for clarifying. 10/11 weeks just to be able to track is really alot. |

The school is requesting that I legalize my Master Degree certificate and transcripts and also that the University where I obtain it should forward a copy to them via email which I have done and they have acknowledged it. However, from the comments that I have read so far, I learned that I need to make photocopy of my certificate so as to get the certified true copy from my school before proceeding to the embassy. I have Master degree already but I want an oversea master degree. Please I need directions on how to go about it. Meanwhile, I got the admission using my MSc statement of result. I want to apply for my certificate tomorrow since I am not sure if my statement of result would be accepted at the embassy. Help me please I do not know if you can legalize the statement of result; but what I know is this: You will first authenticate the documents at the Ministry of Education & Foreign Affairs before sending them to the Embassy for legalization. It takes about two weeks at the embassy. Others can help throw more light |

Ademidecare: You’re always advised to start your processing at least 3months before departure date. I applied for long stay art 40 on 15/11/22 and it’s been 8weeks without no information so I called and ask for hats going on. They told me it takes 12/13 weeks in total for decision. The date you applied - 15/11/22, do you mean the day you submitted the documents at TLS or that was the date for your interview? I submitted 7/12/22 and interviewed 19/12/22. It's five weeks after my interview and I'm still unable to track my application on the Home Office site till now, much less receive feedback. |

Ademidecare: It takes 12/13weeks processing if I’m not mistaken. Hello Ademidecare, correct me if I'm wrong, but I see Article 40 is for family reunion. Do you think a study visa would take the same length of time? |

Aisha07259: Hello everyone, I just submitted recently earlier this month for my Belgium student visa..I have completed the interview and I want to know how long it takes after interview to hear from the embassy I submitted first week of December and had my interview middle of December. Still haven't heard anything. Can't track it yet. I guess the information (12/13 weeks) is about right? I just hope study visas don't take that long. |

h20water: My cousin sister was asked to schedule a follow-up visa interview after her visa was approved in the first interview. Has anyone experienced this before? This happened to me in Abuja, December 2021. No interview was done, and no reason was given to me. The VO just said "unfortunately you no longer qualify for the visa which you applied for", and my passport was returned to me with blue paper. I had to defer and I'm about to go for another interview. I don't know your sister's situation, but you have my best wishes. |

chibertha: Go with both of them your visa would be put on the new one. But if you want to change your records to the new one you have to send a mail via your profile attaching both passports biodata page and it will be done by them. Thank you |

Hi everyone,
So my old passport was to expire in November, and I used it to book for my F1 interview in January. However I haven't been able to get a date closer than August, and my passport now has less than 6 months validity. I have renewed the passport and have a new one now, but my old passport which I used to book the interview has been stamped "Canceled Without Prejudice"
Can I still go to the interview with the old passport (also taking the new one along) or do I have to cancel the appointment and book a new one with my new passport?
Thank you |

dfutbolar: Please, when is the start date on your I20? Was it within 60days to start of your classes you applied for the EA?
Please when were you scheduled?
You did not send email for surge in Abuja you only used the EA option on your cgi portal right? My start date is Jan 10. The day I applied for EA was 50 days to resumption and no I did not send any email for surge. Just used the EA option on my CGI portal. (I had been denied EA twice before, and I paid another MRV fee before this was approved) |

I applied to Abuja on Sunday night (10 pm) and it was approved Monday evening (3:54 pm). I uploaded I-20, SEVIS payment, MRV receipt, DS-160 confirmation page as supporting documents. Didn't send any other email for the surge dates. Neffy: Good morning guys URGENT!! Please how long does it take to get a reply from the embassy after applying for an emergency date?? |

Lilbaby23: Okay. Cancel the current appointment and your page will automatically refresh. You will see the New application button, fill the necessary data correctly till you get to appointment. You can decide to pick any date available or leave it. Proceed to sending your ds-160 page, sevis fee,i 20, data page and gtb visa fee to the provided emails for Surge dates. That’s all Thank you very much. |

Hey everyone it's my first time posting. I have a bit of a challenge and would please like some clarification from anyone that can help. I exhausted my EA options and so I do not have the EA Tab displaying on my CGI profile anymore. I guess I have to cancel the previous appointment (Jan 2022) since it's too late for me. I have paid another MRV Fee, and I would like to proceed without making any further mistakes. Could anyone kindly guide me on how to replace the old MRV receipt number and replace it with a new appointment so I can apply for EA and the surge dates? I am a first time applicant and have not attended the interview before.
Thank you for your response. |
