I wish u knew how many deals i had lost before now.
I was on my laptop from 3.00pm when IAA normally starts bidding till like 10pm when Copart and Autoexchange closes for almost 3 weeks
Just for the colour, there was a black 2007 sold on IAA Texas for just 6900 last week monday

The craziest were the RAV4s. I am also watching three now and their prices have gone beyond my budget.
I am not endorsing Salvage cars but i sure know what to go for to cut costs and still get a good deal.
I paid for the car today and already called my trucking guy to move in and pick it to my brother's place in NJ from where the journey to Naija starts
I will surely set up a thread for this unit once it sets sail.

What state did u buy  that Accord from? I couldn't believe the mileage and the condition.
mine was from Pittsburgh.
I think the trick for cheap cars lies mostly in their closing pre-bid price. I normally add another $1500 + or -
And then, Ohio is a major trick for me. I get cheap rides from Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati. . .enough of the secrets

Don't let the cart out of the bag bro I have my own states where i buy quality and cheap cars from but trucking them to port is always a challenge and cost more,so i'm stick to any states 4-5hrs drive from Virginia. We go hookup in a relaxed atmosphere sometime soon to share more ideas

Ohh now I understand your point. I am not a member of any auto cabal and will not join any Cabal on NL. I am not part of dealers that will not make buyers be aware of what they are buying. If i'm selling salvage or any fairly accidented car,i go to the extent of showing clients not only the extent of the damage, but with pre-purchase and after purchase pictures which NO OTHER DEALER {xcluding Emperor} on NL will display except for pre-order deals. Its part of my Transparency and Honesty which has been working for me and that should not be taken for granted.

The Red CR-V above is for sale {price is negotiable} while the Silver CR-V was bought for a customer and both are CLEAN Title SUVs that can be used in USA. Search with these stock numbers on iaai.com 8833624, 8944870. My priority is not only to get clients quality cars, but to also save them between 200k - 300k.

Majority of Nigerians are too dirty. I feel shy dropping a sachet of pure water or gala wrapper on the streets while some people will drop it as if its normal. The fact remains that greater number of Nigerians are DIRTY right from home.

An average Nigerian buyer doesn't care about the safety of what they are buying cos majority of them are more concerned about the exterior part of the Car. I buy and sell clean and salvage cars but Nigerians forget salvage cars are also used in USA and also forgets that a Salvage Title can also be cleaned in USA to make it Clean Title.
As someone has rightly said, there are so many reasons why a car can be labelled Salvage or Total Loss by insurance company and many of them will cost less than $300 to fix. I believe someone who had worked with insurance company in USA has enlighten us more as to how cars are labelled Salvage.
I have seen 2011 Honda Crosstour labelled Salvage simply because of hail damage. I believe buyers and seller need to be more enlightened as no knowledge will be lost. As for air bag deployment, it doesn't come cheap to fix especially the driver side air bag and most airbags may deploy when fixing it if the technician isn't careful.[/quote]
