For those not familiar with statistics (probability and permutations)....
The difference between 4th and 9th on this Bongo FA Cup table is what is called being safely in the playoffs position.

You can't say that you are safely tucked in when one more loss will have you looking over your shoulders at the possibility of not just one, not two, not three but six teams having the opportunity to overtake you with a successive loss. grin

I like as you were deceiving Emaprince and yourself that major changes will happen from 6th to 17th, making it look like he had a fighting chance and you were safe in 2nd.

Six points currently separate 10th from 2nd.

Absolutely nobody is safe with 15 points still to play for.

You put together a few good run of results and suddenly find your voice on the thread and I am supposed to believe it is a coincidence, right?

As for the point you raised, I stopped posting Bongo FA because nobody seems to be interested in proceedings there.

Your post is actually the first time anyone has mentioned it here to the best of my knowledge.

Not to mention the fact that Emaprince is simultaneously in lower positions on both table and I don't like redundancies or tautologies grin

I have one core hater who is beefing me because he has no realistic chance of making the playoffs, while the other core hater is afraid of me making the playoffs with my chips intact since that means each opponent I face in the playoffs will need to counter whatever chip I choose to deploy, having all chips at my disposal means you won't even know what to counter.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the press.
We, the management of Hojuholape FC will try to keep this brief. It is with deep and profound reflection that we announce the departure of our now erstwhile manager because of the realisation that what brought us here is not sustainable to keep us here and announce the appointment of a more experienced serial winner as a manager to oversee the closing stages of the season.

We also hope we have done enough to keep the thread lively and fulfill the participation quota for continued participation in the FA Cup due to inevitable diminishing presence in discussions on the thread for the foreseeable future or at least till the end of May.

Lastly, the hoarding of chips is a strategic positioning with the shift of focus on the FA Cup with the League and overall rank being the opportunity cost of this particular strategy and may God save whoever is unfortunate to play us in GW36-38. We round this up by calling for calmer heads to prevail amongst our supporters and well wishers while advising our adversaries to be afraid... Be very afraid!
