So being an adaptation, they should rewrite the source book because Mr Baddestguyp from nairaland is tired of nuclear apocalypse tropes? Baddestguyp: Just watched the Silo finale...
I am half-curious and half-disappointed
It was a good finale but I have some major issues...
1. The reveal about the SILO being as a result of nuclear/radiological warfare is very predictable. Everyone predicted it from episode 1.
Honestly I would have prepared if it resulted from Aliens or even an AI trapping humans...
Using the most predictable mystery possible is not really something I look forward to...
2. Making seasons boring and dragged out just to have a great finale that ends on a cliff hanger is a tired technique that Hollywood needs to drop....
Other than that, a great episode... 7 Likes |

You talk as if the Special Force squad comprises of a whole battalion when in reality, they are just 6 elite soldiers sent into enemies strongholds to execute high risk missions. The enemy shouldn't even know they were there in the first place. If you had been watching closely, you would have caught a particular dialogue in season 1-2 when they came under heavy attack and Perry said to Jason "Brother, there is no other team I will rather get into a gunfight with but even we can't fight off an army" No matter how elite you are, it is suicide engaging well armed enemy combatants (terrorists for that matter) on their home turf without something to even the odds eg, eyes in the sky to coordinate your activities, you will be toast. metaai: SEAL Team (Seasons 1-7):
One thing that kept ringing in my head while watching SEAL Team is this: without their ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), how strong are these elite soldiers really? From drones to satellite feeds and real-time updates, the show makes it clear that their "toys" are their biggest edge in missions. Honestly, I think this mirrors real-life operations of U.S. special units.
Now, compare this to the 2017 Tongo Tongo ambush in Niger. In that real-life tragedy, U.S. special forces operated without ISR or proper air support. The result? Heavy casualties. They were outnumbered, outgunned, and completely in the dark. It’s a harsh reality check that even the best teams can falter without their technological advantage.
SEAL Team brilliantly showcases how vital ISR is to their operations, but it leaves me with a lingering thought: Would Bravo Team survive a Tongo Tongo scenario? Take away the "eyes in the sky," and the question of survival becomes very real.
Strengths: Solid depiction of military operations. Deep character development. Realistic portrayal of the emotional struggles of soldiers and their families. Action scenes are intense and well-choreographed.
Weaknesses: Some seasons drag with repeated plotlines. Character interaction was a little bit repetitive/cliché. A few unnecessary subplots that didn’t land.
Rating Breakdown: Content/Theme: 9/10 Accuracy/Authenticity: 8/10 Execution/Delivery: 8/10 Originality/Creativity: 7/10 Audience Engagement: 8.5/10
Final Score: 8.1/10
Verdict: SEAL Team is a thrilling mix of action, emotions, and brotherhood, but it subtly raises a critical question: Can elite teams survive without their tech advantage? A gripping watch for military drama fans!

Once activated, it will be active for three GWs which you can't use any other chips. You can sub your manager for another managerial option during this time three GW window. timbros:
No.
One manager at a time.
This chip too dey complicated. I don't even know if na only one GW we fit play am or a set period of time.
The only thing I have established is that one can go for an expensive 'safe' manager like Slot, Pep etc that will guarantee your winning point or you go for a cheap 'risky' manager like Potter, Amorim, or even any Everton manager that comes on board. If this option work for you, na massive haul be that.
Imagine West Ham (almost relegation) beat Nottingham Forest at top end of the table and you have Potter. Or Man United (13th) beat Bournemouth (7th)... Na those kind fixtures fit go well. Crystal Palace (16th) can beat Fulham (9th) or Aston Villa (8th). 2 Likes |

I think the director actually wanted the audience to despise the character and it worked because me for one, I was actually rooting for the Jackal to eliminate her 100naira: The day of the Jackal
7.5/10
The actress that played Bianca either can't portray characters with different sides to them (I have only seen her in Marvel movies) or it was intentional by the script writers. She takes me out in most of her scenes with her blank face. 3 Likes |
