Just got into Grotesqueire (or whatever).

Currently at Episode 3, enjoying the ride but I am seriously suspecting that her comatose Ex-husband.

It is a stretch I know but

Galaxy TV came later though around 2007-2009 and theirs was in the morning.

AIT and MItv were the major stations broadcasting telenovas in the early 2000s... Passion on Sunday evening and Wednesday I think, this action movie with a catchy soundtrack, the plot was about a bodyguard hired to protect a lady who is always running into trouble.. When you are mine was even later in 2004-2007 if my memory serves me correctly then Second Chance followed suit.

NBC made a broadcast law dedicating the evening time slot to local content in the 2009-2010 period and that effectively ended the telenovas craze for that period.

Bro, you don't need to beat yourself up for not finishing them. Many of them was never finished especially the later ones when everyone was already hooked on Telenovelas. Our local networks just kept changing shows midway probably depending on demand. Some got repeated so bad you're never getting to the end, you just lost interest and hop on the another one.

Although Galaxy TV was the most dedicated back then who mostly completed their shows. AIT also did decent then.

I find it quite amusing when a main character put in 100% effort and a supporting character somehow put in 150% and end up outshining everyone else.

Funny how now I remember it, the series thread was a bit abandoned back then. The main focus was on the movie thread but the series thread has gone through some rejuvenation over the last 2-3 yrs.

I have never seen a show this polarised in reviews. There is basically no middle ground. Those that love it, think it's the best thing since slice bread whilst those that hate it, do so with so much fury and both sides can't be wrong, speaks volume to how differently we perceive media quality sometimes...so so uncanny 😩
