A young man dressed like the Legendary Michael Jackson, with Biafra logo pinned on his suit stormed the Onitsha market on Tuesday, pulling a large crowd as he performed before them. He came with a compact disc of Michael Jackson's songs and asked one of the traders who was playing some music in his shop to slot in the Michael Jackson disc for him. The man obliged his request and and increased the volume. Michael Jackson's "Thriller" took over and the young dancer started doing what he knew how to do best and before you could say Jack Robinson, people gathered to watch this young man. When I saw the kind of money this guy got from people who decided to support his talent,it became clear to me that you can make some money in this country by doing what you really know how to do without minding what people think, because some people were laughing at him, calling him jobless (though silently so he won't hear it.. because they were enjoying his moves). Upon questioning from people, he said he hailed from ogu in Enugu. He went to different other places in the market to showcase his talent, getting more money in the process http://www.storiesmagic.com/2017/07/biafran-michael-jackson-storms-onitsha.html?m=1

Since giving birth to her twins, believed to be a boy and a girl, Beyonce and her newborn babies have been in this lavish Malibu hideaway to keep away from prying eyes and also to give them time to rest and get used to their new life. The luxurious mansion, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, has extensive 6.3 acre grounds and boasts of 14 bathrooms, 10 bedrooms, a 25ft infinity pool and it costs $400,000 a month to rent. It has a rose garden with more than 1,000 flower bushes, a landscaped desert area and a tennis court complete with a viewing deck. Beyonce is renting the La Villa Contenta until the end of August, that is for more than two months, so do the math. Beyonce moved in on Wednesday after leaving the hospital following the birth of her twins via cesarean section. It is reportedly another reason why she rented the secluded location, she wants a nice, quiet place to recuperate. Her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, was seen on Sunday arriving at the luxurious house to visit her grand babies. She arrived in a black Porshe SUV. Neighbours at Beyonce's lavish hideaway include Halle Berry (she has a house that sits directly on the sandy beach facing the Pacific), Caitlyn Jenner, Barbra Streisand, Pamela Anderson and Julia Roberts. The La Villa Contenta has been featured in a lot of movies such as, in HBO's True Blood, in CW series Privileged, Funny People, and more. http://www.storiesmagic.com/2017/06/too-much-moneysee-400000-month-mansion.html?m=1

Mrs Efunroye Tinubu was the first nigerian woman to buy a car. She was born in Abeokuta in 1805 (211yrs ago). She was a wealthy slave trader and sold many slaves to the Europeans. Since there was no currency in Nigeria then, she exchanged about 500 slaves for a car in 1834. She leased the car out to the whitemen in Lagos and never drove it for one day ( this gave Fela's mother Funmilayo Ransome Kuti the chance to become the 1st woman to drive a car about 100yrs later). Efunroye married Oba Adele of Lagos in 1835 after the death of her husband. Adele died in 1837 making her a widow for the second time. She installed Adele's son, Oluwole as the oba and married his chief security officer. Oluwole died and she install her own son. Efunroye died in 1887 at the age of 82yrs. The National Agency for Food And Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), says European Union (EU) rejected 24 exported food products from Nigeria in 2016 for failing to meet standards. The NAFDAC spokesperson, Dr Abubakar Jimoh made the disclosure while speaking with the Newsmen on Monday in Abuja. According to Jimoh, the five major products are groundnut, palm oil, sesame seed and beans that were illegally exported to the EU. He noted that from the information made available to NAFDAC, groundnut was rejected because it contained aflatoxin, which made the quality substandard. “The exported palm oil did not scale through the EU’s test because it also contained a coloring agent that was carcinogenic. “Beans was banned by EU sometime ago but it was illegally exported to European countries. “Beans was initially banned for one year, when EU was not satisfied with our exported beans in terms of quality assurance, it extended the ban by another two years, which expires next year. “NAFDAC and other regulatory agencies of the government are working round the clock to ensure that when the ban is lifted, we can then begin to export more agricultural products to EU,” Jimoh, who is also the NAFDAC Director Special Duties, said. He said most of the products that were smuggled out were not certified by the agency and the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Services at the ports. http://www.storiesmagic.com/2017/06/eu-rejected-24-nigeria-exported.html?m=1 lalasticlala,seun,mynd44

Why do you always compare yourself with others? If you find yourself exhibiting this character, below are reasons why you have to stop. COMPARISON STEALS YOUR JOY I’m sure you’ve heard this saying a million times, but it’s very important to reiterate it. Comparing yourself to others only makes your life difficult and brings you misery and pain. Instead, try using others as motivation to work harder and do better. COMPARING YOURSELF WITH OTHERS HINDERS YOUR PROGRESS If you spend your days comparing yourself to other people’s achievements, you’ll never get anything accomplished. You must invest all your energy into pursuing your own dreams and goals. Don’t waste your precious time on those of others. YOU CAN’T PHYSICALLY CHANGE YOURSELF You are you. You’ll always be you. You’ll never be anyone else. And although it might be hard to believe for some of us, this is actually a good thing. To explain why, here’s my favorite quote from author Jen Sincero: There will never be anyone exactly like you. You were given special gifts and talents to share with the world, and even though everybody has special gifts and talents, nobody will use theirs quite the same way you do. – Jen Sincero So start believing in the value of your uniqueness! NO ONE HAS A PERFECT LIFE Stop comparing yourself because no one has a perfect life No one has a perfect life. Although you might think that a lot of people are leading an amazing life with no down sides, know that this isn’t true. Every single person on this Earth experiences problems and challenges throughout their lives. No one is exempt from this. Some people are just better at keeping it together, at least on the outside. So next time you compare yourself to your friend or neighbor, remember that you probably do not know every detail about their life. SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER I know this last point might seem a little harsh, but it’s the reality. So the sooner you accept it, the happier you’ll be. I remember, when I was younger, I would cry my eyes out every time my best friend got a better grade than me. So to soothe me, my dad would say, “There will always be someone better than you at one point in your life.” At first, I didn’t really understand where he was going with it and frankly, it left me with even more pain. But as I grew older, I realized he was right. At some point in your life, someone will beat you to whatever it is you’re after. You can’t always win at everything in life. All you have to do is work hard and try your best, and whatever is meant to be will fall into place for you at the right moment. http://www.storiesmagic.com/2017/06/reasons-why-you-should-stop-comparing.html?m=1 |
I wonder if this guy can bear the shame when he finally returns to Nigeria.... I know why i am saying this;I know my fellow Nigerians. I remember when an actress,i think Georgina Onuoha or Ebube Nwagbo said that most of things celebrities show off on social media are not theirs, that most of them actually go to bed hungry....... Just like DJ Exclusive said,Nigerians don't care where your money is coming from. Once they see you flossing...You be chairman ni. 'But they way this jet people take catch dis guy surprise me o.
