Geographical windows are extra funding offered in addition to the Erasmus partner funding, with consideration to the development of the area in focus. Check out your intended program if it has extra funding via ACP geo route.

I prefer FRM and IMETE to EuroAqua because of my strong research record which I believe might give me an edge in my application. Did you apply for EuroAqua? I also hope you submitted a better and improved application for this year's IMETE programme?

I had more options this year. so i didn't apply to those two. Each unsuccessful application prepares you with experience for subsequent applications. Mistake I made, was I only applied for Imete, last year; but I was on top Reserve. Not even a single awardee rejected their offer. lolx!

EuroAqua has more funding for Africans, yet few Africans applied. two Engineering guy with an on-the-spot 2.1 got in through geographical windows.

about 60% is given to quality of degree. last year, almost perfect to near perfect gpa's where given priority.

Imete is always fiercely competitive, and priority is always given to Engineering graduate. Based on last year's stat, more than 800applied with 75% of winners from Engineering background.
