mikolo80:It appears you messed up the quote system. You say one man, one vote. While, by that logic, Trump should not be president, since he didn't win the popular vote, but that's the way it is. Draining the swamp, that's proven to be ironic, since he appears to still be using its residents. And I loved the fact that he basically opened his own yash about it during his victory tour. Saying how he thought the phrase was hookey (sp?) and cheesy, but kept using it when he noticed the audience liked it. His audience kept smiling and clapping, while I kept laughing. The guy will lie and then tell you he lied. Kudos to him. So you think US isn't corrupt, my guy every country has its corruption, some even covered by loopholes in the law. The same country that ran an illegal war, remember? Everyone is always quick to call Clinton, the mother of ISIS. Err...riddle me this, who was in charge of the US during said illegal war? Bush. The same war that helped cultivate these terror groups. Let's not even start talking about how the US has messed up some countries for their own interest. The continent of South America can attest to some weird ish from the US over the years - seriously, they overthrew Guatemalan government in the name fruit (either bananas or oranges. Oh and apparently communism. You can read up on United Fruit Company). The whole tax returns thing is simply to show himself accountable to the people. It's one of the main things every western politician does. Did you just say show me the book on presidential carriage?! For some odd reason, I've broken away from my eternal Brooklyn Nine-Nine rewatch and decided to watch Sleepy Hollow. As in season 1, the chemistry between Tom Mison & Nicole Beharie (Ichabod & Abbie) is just...whoa. Look at everybody all alive and/or not the living dead. Aww. |

mikolo80:Ha! Everybody is always quick to hark freedom of speech, but forgetting about freedom of the press. Trump demonised himself by saying, doing or in some cases blatantly avoiding in places where it could eventually be revealed. He appears to not understand that he is going to be POTUS and all the things it entails. One of the questions he was trying to avoid during that disaster of a press conference was his inability to show his tax returns (still... dey go fear this man). It also appears the man still wants to profit from his businesses during his tenure as the POTUS. Claiming that his businesses will be run in a blind trust by his sons.  Or were you one of those gullible folks fooled by his stack of folders? Look, when the US Ethics committee is publicly complaining about the blurred lines of this arrangement, one has to take note.At the end of the day, we shall see, when some misled folks will finally realise that Trump has literally been dodging and blowing smoke up their arses. The man is a skilled knave at misdirection & lying. I applaud him for playing to his strengths. He should spend less time on his Twitter account and start carry himself like an actual President and not a petulant child. 70 is not the new 12. This is the same man that during his campaign, helped the weird rumour spread - Ted Cruz's father being JFK's assassin. Plus, he was one of those who kept going on about Obama's birth certificate. Amazing, how he can't show his own tax returns. He wants people to be held accountable, as long as it's not him. Let's hope he surprises us all by being competent. These are interesting times. |

mikolo80:BS. Megyn was practically the only Fox News presenter that called him out on Fox News, as she considers herself an Independent (she votes either way). She's now with NBC News. In fact Fox News have actually defended CNN sef with respect to this faux pas. The whole point is that Fox News is known for their bias. |

He doesn't seem to have a problem with Fox News as a whole, who are also known for their very biased media - pro-Republican. They're so pro-Republican, it even borders on idiocy in some instances...eg the whole nonsense on Obama liking mustard instead of ketchup on his burger. |
