that's the problem now, "the original isn't even going out of stock!" Sony intends to sell the Slim alongside the earlier PS4 versions. The dumb fvcks are still producing those old models which will compete with the slim yet again as their cost will now go down like u rightly stated!

You do know this is common practice, right? Even MS are doing the same thing. At the end of the day, it's variety. They're people out there who will never buy the Pro, what's the point in 4K if you don't have the TV? There are people who will buy every single release (saw one YouTuber, who had every single limited edition PS4 console, that one get money). They are those who've been saving and waiting for this moment. Normally, I usually wait until the slim release, but PS4 was calling my name too loudly and UC4 was fast approaching. I ended up getting the Star Wars 1TB PS4 with then new chassis. Black Friday is coming, I expect some stupendous sales on all consoles, in fact the real winners will be the late comers in the console market.

I posted this earlier on the updates & news thread, but today is the day, so here we go again. It will be available to download today, so I expect y'all to be ready. Youmour, your PABLO* ass better not miss road.

Any progression you earn, including levels as well as skins and other items you get from Loot Boxes, will carry over to the full game if you purchase Overwatch: Origins Edition on Xbox One or PlayStation 4—just be sure you purchase the game on the same console account you played on during this free weekend.

Your stats will also be retained. (Trophies and achievements, however, have been disabled for the Free Weekend.)

After watching it, I pretty much agree with you that the game sucks!

Angry Joe's review was rather on point, he even talked about the centre of the universe bit and showed a YouTube clip from another YouTuber. I follow different ones for different reasons (reviews, game movies, random info etc...).

Trying not to but the missus keeps rubbing it in my face she'll be playing overwatch at the weekend.. she's hooked onto Battlefield 1 already..thankfully I've got the Open Beta too...she 4 send me to an early grave with the mockery!

I've tried to play BF1, been running around like a headless chicken, getting shot more times than Scarface, killed myself more times than I can count (the parachute is not my friend and I usually forget to press square to leave/jump out/dismount). Once in a while, I surprise myself and pwn everybody for about 30s, then it's business as usual. Oh and I'm usually running everywhere on foot.

That's realistic, those folks paid full price, played it and reviewed it. Plus, I trust their judgement. NMS is an indie title masquerading as an AAA title. Its creator lied through his teeth and his chickens have come to roost. Look, I'm fine with ambition, but be honest when you don't deliver on it, instead of lying until release day. Plus, it was built by a very small team, they didn't have the manpower to fulfill their ambition in their allocated time. This should have been sold as an indie title NOT at AAA price.

UPDATE: Pessimism was my original reaction, when I heard about all the things they had promised before release - Ain't gonna happen. Looks like I was right...even then.

Actually, I was in a PS chat and the guy was playing Uncharted 4, and we were chatting about the franchise and ND. I'm actually too chicken to play TLoU. But, it's a very entertaining game movie, story really drags you in.

I'm avoiding it, the devs made promises that they didn't keep. Angry Joe & co (other YouTubers) have played it for me, so I don't have to. 18 quintillion planets with the nothingness and the occasional excitement. Even the small size told me what to expect. Hard pass. Let's see if they have the guts to release paid DLCs with all the promises they claimed...the laugh I go laugh...

personally I don't see anything wrong with the combat system in d E3 gameplay infact it looked more matured don't know why some people complained about it

I found that I was very excited before I watched the demo, then it diminished a bit after. It just felt more like Kratos & son, it changed from solo mayhem to father & son co-op. But, my faith in Naughty Dog will hold strong, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

God of War PS4 Director Talks About Game’s Combat And More

God of War PS4’s director, Cory Balrog, was very
active on Twitter answering people’s questions about the highly anticipated game. He feels the combat is fun and satisfying.

He said the game will still have fast-paced action. He also said: “ The combat in this game is going to be satisfying as hell to play “. If you didn’t like what you saw at E3, Balrog did mention that the new combat system is being heavily developed and adapted until the game is ready for launch.

In terms of the game’s development, it sounds like the team is doing long nights and are getting stressed about it. Balrog said he hasn’t had much sleep lately, but it’s important to get the game done to avoid a long delay.

Well, this actually gives me more hope, because satisfying combat is one of GoW's biggest selling points. Even though, the combat shown in the E3 demo was intriguing, it just didn't seem like the standard that we're used to.

Ignore the child, he can't currently respond because he's in time out. Okay, back to regularly scheduled programming. I don't know if Hakinze00 has said this already, but here we go. Next weekend is Overwatch Free Weekend (9th to 12th of September) on PS4 & XO. It can be played without PS+* on PS4. Anything you earn can be carried over if you buy it on the same PS account. I'll just add the screenshot from its PSN page. It will be available to download on the 9th.

*remember, you need PS+ to play the actual game.
