actually the character she's playing is a relative to Mary Jane not MJ herself.

It's actually been recently trending that she's playing MJ & some white folks are rather salty about it. I love how they've been complaining that she's not a redhead, bearing in mind that all the white actresses' names they've been yelling for are also not redheads. Then, the comedy continued when a picture of her as a redhead was posted (I've no idea if it's 100% legit, but she looked good), then saltiness increased that it wasn't natural. Then, someone proceeded to post Scarlett Johansson & Kristen Durnst (blondes playing redheads) and Emma Stone (redhead playing blonde...although, Stone is an actual blonde, but has been playing a redhead since Superbad).

Apparently, the MJ reveal was supposed to be done in the film, but I guess someone got impatient. Sha, sha, we shall see.

Actually, there was a Nigerian X-Man, abi girl/teen called Oya, but in true American fashion, her origin is a tad off - her real name's Idie Okonkwo from Cross River*...

*Looks like someone has changed the Wikipedia entry (it's been awhile since I heard about this character), I knew it was stranger than that, so went to the Marvel wikia, she's from Oyo, Delta State. Yes, you read that right. Americans would it kill you to look at a bloody map?!

Netflix have finally uploaded season 2, so I'm finally catching up from episode 18 (of season 1) . Although, I think I've actually watched this episode. Fish, my girl! I've missed you, with her new eye. Yup, I've definitely watched this episode.

but seriously, that storyline would be good. Am a writer and i love twists and turns. Imagine chris evans revealed to have been playing red skull all along and that the real Rogers died in The First Avenger. His saving bucky, part of the hydra plan, him protecting Sam L Jacks0n a ploy (fury suspected him, so he had to do s0mething), his scuffle with pearce in The Winter Soldier just a power tussle and that Pearce knew he was the Red skull. I would end spidey: homecoming with Steve Rogers saying Hail hydra. How about that twist?

True, but it is the essence of the character. Steve Rogers is the Boy Scout of Marvel, and the era which the character was made in - just like Superman - during WW II holds strong for the roots of the character, it turns a whole lot history on its head. If they had made it as one of the other AUs (eg Ultimate) then no wahala, but they changed it in the main universe. It's gone from fighting for truth, justice & the American way into a lie. It's like finding out that Kal-El was sent as a spy as a baby to make Earth New Kypton, while destroying humanity & that he knew all along, with the Kryptonians hiding out in the Phantom Zone and then they launch a full-on invasion. We're not talking about months or a few years, it's decades of history. Imagine the uproar folks would make if the Superman story I just proposed was real.

Imagine if DC decided to make Batman the creator of all his greatest rogues, because Bruce was suffering from PTSD from his parents' death & decided that since he's now a worldclass fighter, he might as well fight worldclass villains. Imagine the real reason why he didn't kill Joker & co was just for the thrill of the inevitable chase & fight and the fact that he could always do it all over again. Now, I won't mind reading those stories, but that would be 50+ years of character development down the toilet, since everything was essentially a lie.

It's amazing how far comics can go with one character. So many different takes. Just makes for all the more interesting reading.

Not trying to start a sub here, but I've always wondered how much Wolverine could grow back. It's apparent he can't grow back his legs from that strip. Could he grow back a finger? A foot? An arm?

If I remember correctly, he's regrown himself from a skeleton after an attack from Dark Pheonix. I've the panel in my head and I might actually have the comic, but I'm not going to even attempt to look through my X-Men comics - lets just say it's a challenge. Different writers keep doing different things. Some have shown him healing in seconds, others longer, I guess as long as his brain is still intact. I'm guessing he'd be able to heal back his bones & all, but not the adimantium, so in this case he'd technically tell his body not to heal itself until he got the rest.

Originally, he was supposed to be a mutated wolverine cub, but the writer left before the reveal. See writers just make whatever they like I go with it.
