Just checked this out. 480p of course, I don't even have 4K display in the first place.

Screen recording software tends to be a bit tasking, especially as such high resolutions. Probably responsible for the noticeable drops in frame rate.

Sunset Overdrive reminds me fondly of JSRF, probably my favourite game ever. It is a good looking game though.

Yup, it was definitely responsible for the drops in frame rate. Apparently, OBS is rather down in the hierarchy, as the game takes priority. There are genuinely actual drops in frame rate in game during the cutscenes, which I honestly find surprising. And yes, on higher resolutions, there are definite drops when compared to the lower resolutions. If I keep to 1080p & 1440p, there aren't there, but what's the point of having a 4K TV and not using it to its fullest potential?

Moral of the Story: Always read your contract before signing. Read every single word. If you don't understand get an independent lawyer to read it for you. If you can't afford one, get a dictionary or tell them to write the contract in plain/simple English. Remember, they don't own you until after the contract. It's not by force to sign.

Okay, attempting to record 4K content. So playing Sunset Overdrivev on PC and outputting to my 4K TV. I know there are drops in frame rate during some cutscenes, rather odd, but it is what it is. Even odder, during the recording, there were frame rate drops in places where I never had any in-game. So that's hella annoying, last last I'll do 1440p recording.

Had some internet issues, but's been definitely over 48 hours. During his next break, I'll try to get the actual time. If break time is included, it's already been passed, if not he'll definitely be passing it soon.

Total hours (including breaks) over 46 hours.
Breaks: 6 hours 20 minutes so far. Sorry don't have the precise time, but at 6am when he went on his second break, it was a total of 42 hours (including the first 4 hour break). My brain too tired to be doing maths just woke up.

Twitch is weird y'all. I tried to make a 1 minute clip, it saved itself somewhere else, not on my channel.... then, saved it as a 30s on clip on my channel. Had to save it as a highlight. It appears clips and highlights saved on my channel will remain locked at source resolution (1080p60). But when it saves on the clip site, you can actually change the resolution. Weird.

24 hours now. He's taking his break. Since he played 24 hours straight, he's having a 4 hour break.

UPDATE: Remember he's allowed a10 minute break for every hour played. So 24 hours played = 240 minute break = 4 hours break.

He passed the 12 hour mark about 15 minutes ago.

There will be rest breaks, so y'all can calm down. Some of you are funny sha, you'll spend hours doing your hobby, you won't allow person to enjoy their own.

Tried to watch this, but apparently the mobile web version of Twitch doesn't allow for changing the quality. Looked 1080p crisp, and my network couldn't keep up.

Ouch. Twitch seem to just lock to source. Just tried watching via the Twitch mobile app and it only seems to give two options, source and auto.
