Vasaratti16: Cao If you are a gamer on Nairaland and you dont know who Cao is......well oyo is your case. One thing that caught my attention when i first watched her video was her voice her voice is so soothing that it could turn a non tgamer to a gamer . In my opinion shes good in what she does, she makes an ordinary gameplay seem like a movie. The enthusiasm in her voice is one of the reason i like her videos. I also like how unlike most Youtubers she doesnt use swear words to try to make her videos funny, we need more gamer girl like her!!
Aww...thanks, but I do swear like a sailor. Seriously, it's bad, I call them syllable enhancers. Once tried to give up swearing for lent, lasted 20 minutes.
It's not bad, the only thing is it's a long binge - I've been watching a lot of serials with short seasons or serials with shorter episodes (as in 22 minutes), that I forgot how long a 22 (42 minute long) episode season feels like.
First of all, I'll have to get this out of my chest for your assessment of Witcher 3. Actually, it's my automatic response for whenever I hear this assessment for it. https://78.media.tumblr.com/1bf87a43405f84ba78546bf2617f3c7b/tumblr_otxmfh6x2K1siyzeso1_400.gif Anywho, onto the actual question - Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Assassin's Creed Revelation. Any game that makes me repeat a level, regardless of whether I'm doing it in time (PoP:WW) or going back to an area only to go to another section to essentially repeat a very similar level to the one I just finished (ACR) gets very boring. I'll just quote myself again from an old thread.
cao: Assassin's Creed: Revelations - This was probably the first AC game you never tried to finish. It suffers from the the constant back and forth gameplay, that reminds you that you're currently playing the most boring & repetitive AC video game ever created until...
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - You thought ACR was Ubisoft's first attempt at the boring back and forth headless chicken dance? Nope, they pulled this travesty years ago, yes it also involved time travel with our dear Prince running back and forth in time in the SAME FREAKING BUILDING! By the third time of you doing the back and forth headless chicken dance, you probably threw away the game disc, while yelling "DUECES/WAKA/YOUR FATHER" or just simply screamed at it.
It's still on my Netflix list, will eventually watch it. Couldn't watch it in the cinema on release cause I travelled to Naij on the day it was released. Coincidentally, both Amir Khan and one of the actresses that played his daughter in Dangal are in Secret Superstar.
Just finished seasons 3 and 4. Still have some unanswered questions and looking forward to more.
EMIOMOADEOYE: Must confess, it a fitting reboot for an iconic series.
The only thing I dont like about this series is Voltron forming Sequence. Its not as dramatic as the former Defender of the Universe of the old days. Very flat indeed.
But everything else is perfect....Oh and I like the new Zarkon. A big improvement over the sisi in the old series. He carries the role of Zarkon with all viciousness and savagery. I don't know how far you have gone so I don't spoil it for you.
I honestly can't remember much from the original, but the reboot really is something. Like I said earlier, finished the latest season.
obixcel: Ok Oh, I forgot to ask one thing. Can u say unequivocally that u wouldn't mind watching it all over again the second time at the theatre even if someone pays for your ticket
obixcel: Over 2hrs 44min, me? I couldn't even sit for 1 hr at the theatre, very dull, I mean, everything moved at a snail speed. Most of the folks who sat down in front of me left the theatre prematurely and never came back. I have never seen that in a long time since I adopted this cinema culture. I knew I wasn't alone as people simply got fed up. The trailer looked amazing, but I had never known it would take over 2 hours before the audience would see Harrison Ford? Dammit! I commend the following: Cinematography = Excellent Visuals and the Environment = Excellent But that's about it.
Actually, I didn't watch a single advert for it, I still knew what I was getting myself into.
Finally watched Blade Runner 2049 a few days ago, lots of quiet moments with loud ominous music, like War for the Planet of the Apes. It's an okay film. If you're looking for Harrison Ford, you'll wait until the third act, like 2 hours. The film felt too long, but it's certainly well acted.
moneyallowed: Marvel is killing it! Thor Ragnarok is currently on 98% on RT. That's the highest for any comic book movie. Here's the Critic Consensus: "Exciting, funny, and above all fun, Thor: Ragnarok is a colorful cosmic adventure that sets a new standard for its franchise -- and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe"
They're along it the best Thor movie, the funniest Marvel movie.... I didn't think I could get any more excited. I think we'll all look back at this period as fans and realize how incredibly lucky we were.
My only question is does anyone know the release date in Nigeria? I tried searching Silverbird's site but couldn't find anything
Looks like I'll defintely do a midnight screening...
As in you got it legitimately from the playstore and not a cracked/mod version from elsewhere or a patched version? Cause if it's the former, then take the update, if it's any of the latter k-leg options, then they've patched your mod/patch and you're kinda screwed...
