Sorry unlike you I have a job, take college courses, go on dates, and play games. I'm from America. We may not have a perfect system but ours is much better than yours. For instance we invent things, come up with worldly accepted theories, and have a free market that flourishes when not impeded by the government. I'd much rather live here than anywhere else and I've traveled plenty to see what's out there. Tell me that you have even the slightest life that is as productive and worth living and I will call you a liar
Ding, Ding, Ding! We've a winner, coming in from the land of the free*. So, you came to NL to flex? Good on you mate, keep trying. The concept of Dangote must confuse him. Bolaji, see who you come back? At the emboldened, Bolaji shey you be highlife Nigerian living in Nigeria? That one is probably for you.

Short movies and comics of the FPS game huh! They really did put alot into the project. embarassed

I guess i shouldn't consider it strange that ubisoft did a similar stunt with "Tom clancy's: the division"; then again ubisoft and their quick tendency to make anything cinema related.

Unlike CD projekt red and bethesda cry

Or DICE angry
Blizzard take their story telling and world building very seriously. See World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo etc. Plus, this was their first original IP in 17 years, bearing in mind this was after they cancelled their MMORPG Titan in 2014 before its release. Overwatch got released in 2016. As a Hail Mary pass (aka last chance), they did very well.

Blizzard created so much lore for Overwatch that it always pains me that there is no campaign mode. Silkmoth, just watch one of their shorts (Dragons, Alive, Infiltration etc) and it will pain you with how much backstory they've created. They also have comics sef.

Ok, I watched Logan yesterday and that ending...

I just want to know, how many of you think of the possibility of continuing the X-men franchise with a team of those kids ("those kids" because...spoiler)? And how many of you will be interested?

Personally I wouldn't be interested, dunno about the possibility of a continuation tho.
The shade is real... grin . All we can do is hope they actually write a good story and redeem themselves. Remember we all thought Deadpool was doomed from the craptastic X-Men Origins: Wolverine film. Seriously, the leaked work print version was better than the completed version. Origins certainly killed the X-Men Origins franchise. Although, the game was actually pretty good (the Uncaged Edition ie PS3/Xbox 360).

I'm less biased than you because I, for the most part, couldn't care less if your petition passed. It would have no affect on my life. And to be honest I don't care about Nigeria because it isn't a country worth knowing.
You're protesting too much, yet you still haven't answered about your country...Although, I already have an idea, just waiting to see if you'll actually prove it.

Tjlemke:
I represent a portion of the current gaming community more than you. That said because I'm actually a part of of which you won't.

Maybe if you didn't allow corrupt people to enter your political system your country wouldn't be such a farce and could have the ability to contribute something for the world instead of taking.
The farce of it all, talking like the rest of the world isn't capable of corruption? Abeg, stop making me laugh. Watching the current farce that's leading the "free world" or the other one that wants to lead his country for all eternity, alternating between President & Prime Minister. MPs, MEPs, Congress following the party line, regardless of its validity, exploiting expenses and loopholes, while some will complain about the uselessness of a thing, but still collect money and exploit said thing. How can the Secretary of Education not know about Education? The mind boggles...

God bless u for this, its time someone hammers sense into their senseless petition that will fail woefully,
I just pity my love ada, cuz i thought she knew better than to embark on fruitless ventures , Nigerians that want to play online already play , i have a ps4 pro and a psvr and i pay for psn already, so this ada's cause makes absolutley no sense to me , and will fail woefully cuxz the nigerians i know will not vote
As usual Bolaji, you've zeroed in on a questionable fellow with open arms, the same fellow who believes we are a country populated mostly of people who can't even afford a PS4. A fellow whose own bigotry and entitlement is not even hidden, but you're willing to embrace because you might share a solitary cause. Yet, you fail to understand this simple fact - I'm willing to make my voice heard, even if nobody wants to listen. You keep claiming its my cause when it actually really isn't. I live in the UK, I use UK PSN, I don't have to think about the exchange rate. You Bolaji do, regardless of how much you indirectly tell us about your bank account, you still are at the mercy of the exchange rate, but you're okay with the status quo because you're satisfied with your lot. You don't want to change the status quo because you are busy talking about its futility, that people (including you) will not sign because people are people. Y'all are pampered armchair warriors that will complain and complain and never do anything about it. The beauty of free will.

Gamefynder:
Hello Mod. New Nairalander here and I wanted to know the following:
1. You said we could reach out to the mod for fp worthy posts. How do we do that?
2. What if i had a post which overlaps or touches on two or three sections of nairaland, where do i post it? Example "System Specs for PC gamers" overlaps both Computer section and Gaming Section. where does such a post go? huh
Thank You.
2. You can post in either or all sections that it covers, since there are NLers who stick to reading/participating in particular sections. Although, having the thread in one section would be easier for you to handle.
1. Mentioning cao or mkmyers45, would get us (gaming mods) to look at it and suggest it for FP to the supermods. Mentioning one of the supermods, usually lalasticlala, would get them to look at it and they might put it on FP.

Can't believe I didn't realise this when I watched Logan at the time.
In the UK, the first wide release showing of this film was at the unusual time of 10:23pm, rather than the usual midnight showing for a major release. This is a reference to the film including the character of X-23. X is the Roman numeral for 10.

I heard it wasn't shown in all theaters that Logan was released, probably why they released it online. BTW how was Logan?
For us, it was on general release on March 1st, but they did a late night (not a midnight screening) the night before at my cinema. It was emotional & a bit draining (from said emotion), violent action drama featuring a broken Wolverine.
MrDojo:
LOL at the last statement... cheesy.... I hope wolverine makes it out alive tho... any mention of Mr pool there?
My brain kept thinking about the timeline, e no gree me rest, until I told myself that all the Wolverine movies follow their own timeline. Deadpool wasn't mentioned at all.

undecided

Why does this FPS game have an actual lore or story u follow like some well written rpg?

I thought the point to this game is to randomly shoot at ur enemy's platoon with ur own m8s to gain the highest number of score points in the shortest possible time.

Now that u mentioned that one of the characters is from africa, may I also ask why (referring to something in the past that I read buried up in here from u) some characters in the game are gay sad

Heck, how does that benefit the game? sad it's an FPS, is the lesbian suddenly light-on-the-trigger against similar sexed characters in the game?

Do some characters make out amidst the shooting? angry
This is not Call of Duty, this is an actual team based FPS. This one you're talking about sexuality, I've no idea who the characters hook up with, so this one that you said you heard from me, you better reevaluate and kindly point out to me where I said so. This is a Blizzard title, of course it's going to have its own lore, na their bread and butter. So get off whatever high horse you're on.

What benefit does adding you to our psn (not yours) community give us. The a large portion of your people can't afford ps4's I assume (which the majority of consumers are on) and like people have said, people from your country buy pirated games. It doesn't benefit Sony nor the rest of us.

Also don't forget that you have an agenda so your comments are heavily skewed.
Says the fellow that is already biased to the whole thing, so your comments are also heavily skewed. Firstly, why exactly are you on NL, since you clearly don't indentify as Nigerian? Secondly, where exactly are you from? Since it hasn't even occurred to you that your supposed ideas of Nigeria are highly misinformed. Thirdly, it apparently didn't even occur to you that if Nigerians are able to pay in their currency, they won't be subjected to the whims of the exchange rate.

So, abeg carry yourself back to whatever country you think of so highly. Let's see if you mention the US/UK, where their debts are astronomical. Or are you going to mention SA, the only African country? As we've seen recently, it ain't a land of roses...I could seat here and start sprouting about the faults of every PSN country, but why should I? Since you clearly didn't do your research, I won't do it or you. Next time, reduce the gap between you and common sense.

UPDATE: Oh and Nigeria existed during the Omnic Crisis, but it may not exist anymore in the current Overwatch timeline. Darn Omnic Crisis...
