As you just start, stick to Uber and dont take trips more than 3km pickups. Naso mesef dey do.

If u no sabi like experts or how to negotiate price with distance and traffic no shuck head for indrive.

If Uber see say dem underpay you for ur last trip dem go adjust your next trip to cover. Your waiting time(customer delay) are covered, if customer no gree pay you report and Uber will settle you... na professional & sane people be Uber riders na why we dey use 'ma' & 'sir' for each other. My Daily average NGN/KM today is N590/km. When i'm stucked i use Bolt comfort or Indrive

normally I ride with Uber and bolt and per se my bolt act enter block unto make I verify vehicle report ..na him I say make I try them today ,Omo my eyes clear but aside that it was just a simple trip less than 2 hours but mehn the fuel prices no gree man enjoy him profits and the AC arguments just come de make me vex join ..I just use the trip end the day ..will learn to negotiate prices before I move to their location but my only issue is Indrive holding my funds and not giving it back for a canceled ride,even when you bargain from the app with better prices them no go accept,say na offline them wan come accept..bolt and Uber any day and anytime ..

This fuel price is taking a toll on the little profit margin and worst still low fare rate and over bearing riders looking for AC mostly from that cheap app called inDrive .. Spent 10k on fuel for a trip of 8500 and 6900 .. how much profit did i realize in such a wasteful
Adventure that took me almost 3 hours to complete .. this job sucks this season and hope it doesn’t go further than this cus for now I’m freaking tired of bursting my head through this Sun ☀️ and roads ..

Cause roads are free ,this apps are dishing out ridiculous prices ..pffft

One of the reason person no need to dey buy small small fuel for car if na personal motor. E good make fuel pump dey swim inside fuel well because of the impurities down the tank and bad fuel being sold in naija

I refill to full tank almost everyday atmost 2days before i start driving. I reset my Trip B to zero after every refuel to monitor usage.

May we not see Fuel pump & Injector wahala. I battle am for 6months when i get starting issue. Changed almost 4 fuel pumps from tokunbo to new. Until i later changed all fuel injectors before motor balance

This conversation lol .. mehn today was hectic got trapped inside Lagos airport ,vehicle decided to go dead(refuse to start after topping fuel ) due to running out of fuel which I was unaware of due to bad a fuel gauge reader that I have been managing..coughed 15k ,mech plus car park trying to solve this issue..well today wasn’t it at all ..never been this stressed lol ..This job don test me in so may ways I never imagined ..Soft bobo like me 😑 need to tap out of this current reality until then,I’m humble and looking forward to a better life .

Lol...it has happened to me many times but the one that paned me the most was the one that happened recently. I reached pick up point after passing thro ugh bad horrible road, I saw the 2 Oloshos about 4 buildings in front of me. I picked up phone to call, that's how one yellow commercial bus filled with olosho girls was passing, they waved it down and jumped in. And immediately they cancelled. Chai. I felt like ramming into that bus.

Didn’t get a chance to work today,hope the app fares are getting better ,how much did you get fuel today..

Bought fuel 1,220 , mehn was pained fr ..I don’t on AC for riders except during morning or night rides ,to reduce fuel consumption cause the rate given for this trips are low compared to the amount we use in buying fuel ..

What if something happens to your car on the road?
What if police or road officers hold you on the road while enroute?
What if your tyre gets damaged on the road?
What if someone hits you or vice versa?

Will that 20k profit will able to sort any of these?

long pick up from Ikeja to freedom way ,rest of the trips done between Lekki phase one to ikoyi then vi then back to Lekki phase one ..aside that the fuel increase is an added disadvantage.. didn’t net much just took my Peace back home for another day ..

Spent so much on fuel today 20k and the way got finished so fast with just 5trips,mehn I barely made my return from this trips . The one that pained me the most was passing through a no entry sign along oniru coughed up 6k bribing this police on bikes ..crazy day fr ..

I’m at a crossroads and I think at this point I wonder what is the point of marriage if this is how it works..
I was busy working to provide for my family ,only to get a long message from my woman stating she left with my child and not only that ,she left with few of my expensive household items , like tv ,speakers , fans and co ..
She held down to her words that for the two years she came into my life ,she was not happy emotionally,that during pregnancy I didn’t spend enough with her ,that I’m always in the sitting room and leaving her all to herself..

Sometimes I wonder what women really wants ..during her pregnancy ,she never worked nor stressed ,she was well taken care of ,ate to her fill ,never worked ,just sleep and take care of my unborn child’s ..My factor of not spending much time on her was due to the fact I was trying to understand the situation at hand and transitioning from living alone, handling things to my capacity to having a wife and incoming child to feed was a lots of task to be prepared for , so I needed a space from her sometimes not to think of the hasty decision I just put myself into ..

A year later and the child is one year plus ,responsibilities mounting and bills ,coupled with the facts I just got a quit notice to leave the apartment have stayed over 6 years at, I requested she let the child live my parents why we go out there to work and provide,also raise money for another place and Lagos rental price is off the roof ..But she was adamant and felt like I was trying to take the child from her and so I insisted she take the child to her parents and give me sometime to raise money for a new place .. she flared up and got angry and said she wouldn’t do that I should immediately rent a place and shop for her ,not minding the stress I’m going through ..

We have had verbal abuses between each other and few confrontations but never led to physical abuse .She said I was being influenced by my family to push her away , that they don’t like her and which is not true ..
I insisted she needs to learn a proper skill or go back to school or get a good job for the time being , but all she cares is me opening a business for her..I found myself looking at someone who depends solely on what a man provides for her and not trying to do something herself for the time being .. The pressure is much and I still have a child to take care of too ..She took my properties and ran away with my child and I was heart broken by such move ..

Now it’s open to both families the decision she took and my parents are angry saying I won’t settle for such a woman and her parents aren’t helping much except her father who calls her out for her wrongful actions ..

At this point I’m thinking of letting go of what we had together and just take care of my child and her wellbeing ,first by renting a place for her and taking care of her needs ..

We have both had a long conversation thinking what went wrong ,she said my lack of emotional presence and not spending enough time with her made her felt like she was single and I was telling her words and those words hurt her and that I’m being influenced by my family which is not true ..

I want to get back my properties and call off my ties with her cause we really started on a wrong note , we didn’t plan well and didn’t see things properly and what we have to offer ourselves individually as a couple rather than a one man game stressing himself out there, trying to do everything himself..Have made wrong choices and this not how I intended my family life to be like and I will make good corrections henceforth..

Some of the Nigeria police force are useless for real , you checked my documents and said this change of ownership and didn’t state more than that and next thing let us go to the station ..under this rain and I’m driving around looking for money and this frustrated men in black wants to ruin my day with his bad energy..The NDLEA officer I carried told him to let me go ..like I was already getting pissed ..

Money actually appeared in my access bank from Uber .. it actually worked 😂just used my access bank act no and swift code for access ..was worried sick I lost money I struggled for ..

They initiated an automatic transfer to act I wasn’t sure of cus I did send out of 500 to see if the money will reflect ,next thing I saw next day was all my money being sent to the act ..mehn I I’m worried and looking for means to reverse the transfer ..can’t provide easy transfer like others without making it look like you about to wire a million dollars ..mtcheww

What would you have had the rider do? The end result of every ride is take the rider home safely.

And when you accept a trip, you are expected to compete it. That's not being selfish.

If for anything, you might be the one trying to act selfish by wanting to accept a trip, get the agreed amount without fulfilling your own side of the bargain.

Imagine picking Awoyaya from Ikeja by 4pm. What were you expecting?

well maybe if I was half way at 3rd mainland bridge and I said I wasn’t going again ,you will call me selfish Abi ..be playing ,when we decide to take this riders to their destination we do that from a place of care not just the money ..
