These same pastors and GOs are responsible for most humanitarian systems in Nigeria. Most orphanages and welfare relief are affiliated to churches yearly. Church members don't complain. People giving to churches are satisfied and keep giving.

But some idiotic dimwit just think pastors and GOs and their problem. Mind you! They don't go to church. They don't give to church. But pastors are their problem.

STOP SUPPORTING EVIL IVE BEEN IN A CHURCH FOR MORE THAN 8 YEARS. ALMOST ALL THE MEMBERS ARE POOR NONE HAS BEEN HELPED. EVEN THE WELFARE OFFERING IS TAKEN TO THE PROVINCE.

Those of us who have led organizations and units in way one or the other can relate. You are the SSG and you were in politics before Fubara. But I won't ever forget how Living Faith church paid my school fees for one session in the university through their annual scholarship programmes. They paid for many too.

Because many of those churches also have to pay their staff in many of those instuitutions eg universites run by churches....at rates the government pays, without any access to government money. (As one of the GO of a large pentecostal church once said...the only help he got from government was land acqusition ie speeding up the process, he still had to pay for the land either way!).

Yeah, I know, maybe we should 'help poor members' by charging cheap fees in church run universites...but that means that the lecturers and non academic staff would have to take cuts in salaries. Also, a lot of these churches are running missions too...that means cuts in those areas...

Nothing is cheap in this world. The best the churches can do is either get their richer members to fund scholarships for poor students, or forget about running universites whatsoever.

YOU'RE BEING VERY UNREASONABLE, IF CHURCHES MAKE USE OF THE MONEY THEY GET FOR HUMANITY THEN FLAMBOYANCY WON'T BE THERE, THAT'S THE TRUTH STOP BEING SENTIMENTAL AND FACE THE TRUTH. HOW RICH WAS JESUS AND THE APOSTLES, THEY WEREN'T BECAUSE WHEN THEY GET THEY IMMEDIATELY GIVE TO THOSE IN NEED, BUT WE EVEN TRICK THE POOR TO BRING AND WE COLLECT AND ADD TO THE OVERFLOWING WEALTH WE OBTAINED BY TRICKS, SELLING HEAVEN AND BELIEVE THAT GOD WILL PROVIDE TO THEM. WHY CAN'T GOD PROVIDE TO YOU WHO CLAIM TO HAVE MORE GRACE.
