There has been this issue that those ruling Ebonyi state are ppl from minority clans eg Sam Egwu from Ezzamgbo which is just 2 wards in a senatorial zone that has the Izzis,then Elechi from Ikwo in a senatorial zone that has the Ezzas.
So,Ezza ppl will rather vote Nwifuru instead of an Nkalagu man from same senatorial zone so that next 4 or 8 yrs an Ezza man will contest.
The Izzi will of course vote their son.
That's easily 50% of the votes

Do you know Abaomege is Ezza land, plus Ishinkwo where late Justice Nwali Ngwuta hails from plus Ukawu.
What of Ivo local govt where Ezzas have 2 wards?
