Fubara go explain tire and no evidence. What else can he throw at Wike, he has done everything he know how to do, it's the courts that will clear his doubts, not Wike.

After the Supreme Court yesterday gave a landmark judgment granting financial autonomy to Local Government Councils across the country, local government workers in Abia state were captured on video rejoicing and singing President Bola Tinubu’s praises.

The excited workers couldn’t hide their joy as they trooped out to celebrate other outcome of the court case. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of the amelioration of the sufferings they have endured under the Labour Party governor that has hijacked the council funds without paying workers that salaries for month.

RIVERS ASSEMBLY PASSES RIVERS STATE EDUCATION ( RETURN OF SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT) BILL

The Rivers State House of Assembly at its 2nd Legislative Sitting of the Second Session of the Tenth Assembly, Tuesday, has passed a Bill for a Law to amend the Rivers State Education (Return of Schools)Law No. 1 of 2005.

Contributing to the debate on the Report of the House Committee on Education, Members expressed their support for the Bill, stating that the school should be returned to the government for better management. They added that the school is now well positioned to cater for the educational needs of the girl - child in Asari Toru Local Government Area and beyond

Commenting on the Report, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, commended the sponsor of the Bill, Hon. Tekenari Granville, stating that the intendment of the Bill is laudable, because it simply seeks to take the Kalabari Girls High School, Buguma from the church that it was erroneously ceded to and return it to the government for effective management.

Commenting further, Rt. Hon. Amaewhule added that the essence of the Bill is to empower the State government to take over the administration of the school to make it serve the purpose for which it was built.

Thereafter, in line with its rules, the House resolved into Committee of the Whole and gave further consideration to the clauses of the Bill before reverting to Plenary to pass the Bill.

President Bola Tinubu’s tenure as the chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government comes to an end today (Sunday).

The 65th Ordinary Session of the Authority is holding at the Presidential Villa in Abuja where he is expected to pass on the torch to another leader.

Tinubu was unanimously endorsed as chairman in July 2024 at the 63rd Ordinary Session of the Authority in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.

Since then, the Nigerian leader has dealt with challenges particularly military coups in member states.The president initially took a strong stance against unconstitutional changes of government in Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, Mali and Guinea, overseeing the imposition of sanctions on them.

However, the sanctions were later lifted as the sub-regional body opted for a more peaceful approach to resolve the issues.

He should wait towards the end of his tenure, he will buy form for a lot of people in PDP primaries for his candidate to emerge then he will switch over to LP.

This is not a matter of typing and hiding behind keyboard. If Wike have said it about her reelection, she is supposed to be careful, because Wike is a professional politician. On that election day, none of you will be able to do what Wike can do to rig her out. Ask Atiku, Okowa, and Obi.
Nobody is talking about any project attracted by this Senator. If she has her way she will block any project proposal coming from the FCT minister for the people for the FCT to the senate. Wike will use his people's oriented projects to flush out her popularity. Watch out.

This is pure lie. The state commissioner of health and commissioner of police are saying different things. It hasn't been established how or who the criminals are..but when know the group that has recruited militants headed by Atekez Asari and general ASABUJA from inaw areas whi has been using their Asawana mantra to destabilise the peace in the state. Fubara has used his ethic divisive public speeches to bring back insecurity to the state.

So don't come here to give false information about pro Wike supporters. Rather it is Fubara's supporters that are likely to donate that IED in order to break up the pro Wike group's peaceful march.
