Business › Re: Nigeria’s Foreign Reserves Hit $51.86 Billion, Highest Since 2009 by CaptainFM1: 6:43am On Jul 17 |
Vision101: You should be asking yourself how come the last time we had it this high was 17 years ago?
Why did we have it low for the past 17 years? What were the presidents in these years doing? Why didn't they build on what they got in 2009? What did the present regime do to bring it this high even with heavy investment in infrastructure?
I heard that net reserves are around forties from inherited mere $3 billion. When you understand the quantum of their unimaginable debt profile along with this useless "cherry-picking" foreign reserve comparison statistics, you will know that even selling your lineage and generations to come cannot offset the problems looming ahead. |

VillagePipu: Even, forget APC.
How much was wiped off by PDP between 2009 and 2015 before Buhari came in?
Tell us. How much was wiped off? That's why I said it's Wayo figure. They will never do the comparison based on reasonable trajectory. It's all cherry-picking on the date to suit their narratives. It should be clear to you why there's multi-dimensional poverty in the land now.

Flangelo12: I'm asking what prevented others from boosting it? When you say others, who or what exactly are you comparing with? President Olusegun Obasanjo (1999–2007): Reserves grew from a low of $4.99 billion in 1999 to about $43.17 billion by 2007. President Bola Tinubu (2023–Present): From $34.39 billion to $51.85 billion. When I say Wayo figure, you should now understand why there is extreme poverty in the land. They will never talk about the percentage growth/trajectory of the reserve whenever they are comparing. My dad makes #50 in 2009, 17years after, I'm making #51.85! No be juju be that? |

VillagePipu: It's in USD, not Naira. This one no even know.
You are talking because others are talking without when having an idea of what they are talking about. Think about it like this.... If you have $50.5billion in 2009, Should you be having $51.85billion in 2026? Is that growth? |

Flangelo12: Inflation into the dollar?
I'm not saying it's not possible, but why couldn't others save as much? Think about it like this.... If you have $50.5billion in 2009, Should you be having $51.85billion in 2026? Is that growth? |
Business › Re: Nigeria’s Foreign Reserves Hit $51.86 Billion, Highest Since 2009 by CaptainFM1: 9:57pm On Jul 16 |
APC and wayo figure! Do they factor inflation into it?
Is $50.5 billion dollars in 2009 not far better than $51.86 billion dollars of 2026? |

Romance › Re: The Real Reason Women Move On So Fast After Breakups Will Piss You Off by CaptainFM1: 7:14pm On Jul 01 |
Pukkalolo: The day my first girlfriend left me, I thought my world had ended.
After one small argument, she sent the cold text: “I’m no longer interested.”
Just like that. Relationship over… Ah
I was shattered. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I walked around like a dead man for months.
But do you know what truly destroyed me?
She moved on like I never existed. Like, within days this girl was already posting new guys on her status… smiling, laughing, looking happy and refreshed. While I was there dying in emotional pain.
So I went online to search: “Why do women move on faster than men after a breakup?”
The two answers I found sounded smart:
#1. “She already broke up with you emotionally long before she left you.”
#2. “Women cry freely, talk to friends/family about it, and process their feelings faster.”
I believed that nonsense.
Until life proved it wrong with real experience.
After dealing with more women, I discovered the uncomfortable truth:
She moved on so easily because she never invested anything serious in me.
Especially FINANCIALLY.
Think about it.
If a woman was spending her own money on you… paying for things, investing in your life, giving you financial support…do you think she would bounce back like nothing happened?
Hell No.
She would be in serious pain. She would probably even drag the breakup for months or years, constantly reminding herself, “After all I did for this guy…”
But when she has zero financial investment? She walks away light. Zero losses. Off to the next simp...
Imagine a sinking ship.
The people who panic, fight, cry, and do everything possible to save it are the ones who put their money into it: THE INVESTORS.
The passengers who just bought a ticket? They simply jump into the next available boat with zero sorrow. They lose nothing.
Your relationship is that ship.
If she never invested real money in it… then to her, the relationship is just a cruise. Nice while it lasted. When turbulence comes, she jumps ship easily and boards the next one with fresh excitement.
Be wise brothers… The reason they move on very fast is because they don't invest what they cannot lose in the relationship. Women are in relationship for business. They are smart investors. Have you seen a woman that caught a big fish and doesn't do whatever it takes to pin him down and secure her space? I would advice you enrol to Gehgeh University. Any woman that invest only psy in a relationship will most likely be a clitocurrent woman. Anywhere the bill is, the psy wets. |
